M1314

Rationale

[edit]

These accounts are all used to upload multiple copies of the same images with dubious and contradictory copyright claims and dubious and unverifiable source claims, for example:

They also edit the file descriptions of each other's uploads. See this and this, for example. LX (talk, contribs) 20:33, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Results

The following users are Confirmed as socks:

Should we block at least 3 of these accounts? Regards, Yann (talk) 13:54, 18 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Obviously. The use of multiple accounts serves no other purpose than to try make it more difficult to deal with the problematic uploads in a structured way. As I see it, the only question is which account should be considered the main account and whether or not that should be blocked as well. As the user has chosen to remain completely uncommunicative, I'm not particularly hopeful about their prospects of becoming a constructive collaborator in the foreseeable future. @Yann: My job is to provide the data. You can do with it whatever you find necessary. Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 16:44, 18 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I blocked all, but Saran133, which is the oldest active account. Regards, Yann (talk) 16:53, 18 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
