Avebury maps

[edit]

Photographs of 2D unlicensed copyright maps made in a public place in the UK.

The debate in the previous deletion requests was mistaken, as the UK freedom of panorama law does not apply to graphic works. --InfantGorilla (talk) 16:07, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not the photographer of these - probably outside located - information panels, I just did a perspective correction on one of them. Having no knowledge about licensing rules of them I would appreciate if somebody could check about a valid license of these useful pictures. -- Хрюша ?? 12:08, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted. InfantGorilla is entirely correct; while the work is (likely permanently) located in a public place, UK freedom of panorama only extends to sculptures, buildings, and works of artistic craftsmanship (see our page on that for examples of the latter). This is none of those things. Lewis Collard! (lol, internet) 14:41, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
