Turkish culture

edit

Hi. What is Turkish culture for you? Taking a pic like File:Çarşaf boerek.jpg with someone sleeping behind? As a Turk who has grown up with Turkish culture I can reassure you that this is a major lack of respect -indeed not only in my culture but universally- and not only for that person but also for the Commons society, including our visitors. If you still visit these pages please make a crop of this file, if that food image is important for you, and let's delete the original. Thanks for action. --E4024 (talk) 00:12, 9 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Assume Good Faith

edit

As a wikipedia editor I assume you know of the principle of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Assume_good_faith

I can only assume in good faith that you want to improve on the project, and I invite you to use the photo under creative commons license to do what you want to do with it and reupload it youself if you are so bothered by someone who is resting, I did not even notice it. And then you can apply to have it deleted if you really feel that it is needed, I have no time for this right now. MdupontMobile (talk)

Please keep talk on one page. I guess you refer to EN:WP. No, I do not assume good faith. Whenever the context justifies I can show you many examples of bad faith therein. As regards my good faith try to count my edits to Commons, subtract those you find negative, wrong, biased or unnecessary and then look at what you still have at hand and decide upon my intentions to improve the project.

Our issue at hand is another one though: Before writing to you I looked at every pic you uploaded. Therefore I do have an impression about what you do with your camera. This pic is one of the 2 (two) food pictures by you and quite different from the other one. Of course it is also the only "Turkish culture" image among pictures from... (From where? Is that the place where you live? How did you find the "börek"? I mean its taste, was it good? :)

Look, M. Dupont, compare your only two food images. The berries are in a bowl and nothing else is seen around. I am sorry to tell you that it is incomprehensible for me that you take a so-called food picture in a kitchen where someone is taking a nap and "you did not even notice it". (With "it" you mean the situation I guess, or is it "her"?) There was something in the place that did not let you take only the picture of the food on the table. If I assume this is the truth, we will be fine. Also as you were taking the picture of the preparation of a food in such a hurry to share it with us, you could not find any food, cuisine, dish etc cat to add to it but "Turkish culture". Hmmm.

Looks like you discovered Turkish culture suddenly and it amazed you...

Be well. --E4024 (talk) 13:27, 9 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Standards

edit

You are getting personal and violating many principles of Wikipedia as I see them, I will look into reporting this behavior of yours when I have some time. Also you have no idea what i have uploaded because I have so many accounts you cannot know them all. MdupontMobile (talk) 15:29, 9 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Notification about possible deletion

edit

Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
