:::Inkscape is not standards conformant in applying the [http://www.w3.org/TR/SVG11/coords.html#PreserveAspectRatioAttribute preserveAspectRatio attribute]. So, if you see a distorted image in Inkscape, it may well preserve its ratio everywhere else.
