The first superconducting final focus quadrupole prototype of the FCC-ee study / Thabuis, Adrien (CERN) ; Koratzinos, Michael (CERN) ; Kirby, Glyn (CERN) ; Liebsch, Melvin (CERN) ; Petrone, Carlo (CERN)
A single aperture Canted-Cosine-Theta (CCT) quadrupole magnet, made of NbTi superconductors, has been developed for the final focus region of the FCC-ee study. The conductor layout is optimised to mitigate edge effects on one of the two sides of the magnet that typically lead to undesired higher-order multipoles. [...]

Modelling FCC-ee Using MADX / van Riesen-Haupt, Léon (CERN) ; Burkhardt, Helmut (CERN) ; Persson, Tobias (CERN) ; Tomás García, Rogelio (CERN)
We present the latest developments for simulating FCC-ee using CERN’s MADX software. Along with updated benchmark studies, we describe how the latest MADX updates can facilitate the simulation of FCC-ee design features, including improvements in tapering and different options for implementing a tilted solenoid..

Challenges in extracting pseudo-multipoles from magnetic measurements / Russenschuck, Stephan (CERN) ; Caiafa, Gianni (CERN) ; Fiscarelli, Lucio (CERN) ; Liebsch, Melvin (CERN) ; Petrone, Carlo (CERN) ; Rogacki, Piotr (CERN)
Extracting the coefficients of Fourier-Bessel series, known as pseudo-multipoles or generalized gradients, from magnetic measurements of accelerator magnets involves technical and mathematical challenges. First, a novel design of a short, rotating-coil magnetometer is required that does not intercept any axial field component of the magnet. [...]

Low-emittance Tuning for Circular Colliders / Charles, Tessa (Melbourne U.) ; Aumon, Sandra (CERN) ; Holzer, Bernhard (CERN) ; Oide, Katsunobu (CERN ; KEK, Tsukuba) ; Tydecks, Tobias (CERN) ; Zimmermann, Frank (CERN)
The 100 km FCC-ee e⁺/e⁻ circular collider requires luminosities in the order of 10³⁵ cm⁻² s⁻¹ and very low emittances of 0.27 nm·prad for the horizontal plane and 1 pm·prad in the vertical. In order to reach these requirements, extreme focusing of the beam is needed in the interaction regions, leading to a vertical beta function of 0.8 mm at the IP. [...]

Progress in the FCC-ee Interaction Region Magnet Design / Koratzinos, Michael (Geneva U.) ; Benedikt, Michael (CERN) ; Bielert, Erwin (Illinois U., Urbana (main)) ; Blondel, Alain (Geneva U.) ; Bogomyagkov, Anton (Novosibirsk, IYF) ; Boscolo, Manuela (Frascati) ; Dam, Mogens (Bohr Inst.) ; Oide, Katsunobu (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Sinyatkin, Sergey (Novosibirsk, IYF) ; Vobly, Pavel (Novosibirsk, IYF) et al.
The design of the region close to the interaction point of the FCC-ee experiments is especially challenging. The beams collide at an angle (±15mrad) in a region where the detector solenoid magnetic field is large. [...]

The FCC-ee Interaction Region Magnet Design / Koratzinos, Michael (Geneva U.)

Coupling and Dispersion Correction for the Tolerance Study in FCC-ee / Aumon, Sandra (CERN) ; Doblhammer, Andreas (TU Vienna) ; Härer, Bastian (KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Holzer, Bernhard (CERN) ; Oide, Katsunobu (KEK, Tsukuba)
The FCC-ee study is investigating the design of a 100 km e⁺/e⁻ circular collider for precision measurements and rare decay observations in the range of 90 to 350 GeV center of mass energy with luminosities in the order of 10³⁵ cm⁻²s⁻¹. In order to reach such performances, an extreme focusing of the beam is required in the interaction regions with a low vertical beta function of 2 mm at the IP. [...]

Low emittance tuning of FCC-ee / Charles, Tessa (Melbourne U. ; CERN) ; Aumon, Sandra (ADAM, Geneva) ; Holzer, Bernhard (CERN) ; Oide, Katsunobu (KEK, Tsukuba ; CERN) ; Zimmermann, Frank (CERN)
The FCC-ee project studies the design of a future 100 km e+/e circular collider for precision studies and rare decay observations in the range of 90 to 350 GeV center of mass energy with luminosities in the order of 10$^{36}$ cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$. In order to reach these luminosity requirements, strong focusing is needed in the interaction regions. [...]
