CERN Yellow Report Front Cover Storage ring to search for electric dipole moments of charged particles: Feasibility study / Abusaif, F.
The proposed method exploits charged particles confined as a storage ring beam (proton, deuteron, possibly $^3$He) to search for an intrinsic electric dipole moment (EDM) aligned along the particle spin axis [...]

Non-exponential decoherence of radio-frequency resonance rotation of spin in storage rings / Saleev, A. (Julich, Forschungszentrum ; Samara U.) ; Nikolaev, N.N. (Landau Inst. ; Moscow, MIPT) ; Rathmann, F. (Julich, Forschungszentrum) ; Hinder, F. (Julich, Forschungszentrum ; Aachen, Tech. Hochsch.) ; Pretz, J. (Julich, Forschungszentrum ; Aachen, Tech. Hochsch.) ; Rosenthal, M. (Aachen, Tech. Hochsch. ; CERN)
Precision experiments, such as the search for electric dipole moments of charged particles using radiofrequency spin rotators in storage rings, demand for maintaining the exact spin resonance condition for several thousand seconds. Synchrotron oscillations in the stored beam modulate the spin tune of off-central particles, moving it off the perfect resonance condition set for central particles on the reference orbit. [...]

First measurement of the surface tension of a liquid scintillator based on Linear Alkylbenzene (HYBLENE 113) / SHiP SBT Collaboration
We measured the surface tension of linear alkylbenzene (LAB) HYBLENE 113 mixed with Diphenyloxazole (PPO) as well as of pure LAB HYBLENE 113 as part of material studies for the liquid-scintillator based surround background tagger (SBT) in the proposed SHiP experiment. The measurement was performed using the iron wire method and the surface tension for linear alkyl benzene HYBLENE 113 plus PPO was found to be $(30.0\pm0.6)$ mN/m $22.0\pm 0.5${\deg}C and for pure HYBLENE 113, $(29.2\pm 0.6)$ mN/m at $21.0\pm 0.5${\deg}C..

Progress in generating gauge ensembles with Stabilized Wilson Fermions / Francis, Anthony (NYCU, Hsinchu) ; Cuteri, Francesca (Frankfurt U.) ; Fritzsch, Patrick (TCD, Dublin) ; Pederiva, Giovanni (Julich, Forschungszentrum) ; Rago, Antonio (Odense U. ; CERN) ; Shindler, Andrea (RWTH Aachen U.) ; Walker-Loud, Andre (LBNL, Berkeley) ; Zafeiropoulos, Savvas (Marseille, CPT)
The continued generation of $N_f=2+1$ quark flavor gauge configurations using stabilized Wilson fermions by the open lattice initiative (OpenLat) is reported. We present the status of our ongoing production and show updates on increasing statistics at the four lattice spacings $a=0.12, 0.094, 0.077$ and $0.064$ fm. [...]
