The production of $\phi , \omega$ and $\rho$ mesons in $p$-, $d$-, S- and Pb- induced reactions at the CERN SPS / Jouan, D ; Alessandro, B ; Alexa, C ; Arnaldi, R ; Atayan, M ; Baglin, C ; Baldit, A ; Bedjidian, M ; Beolè, S ; Boldea, V et al.
From proton, deuteron, S- and Pb-induced reactions, experiments NA38 and NA50 have measured muon pair production with various targets. In particular, the production rates of the $\phi, \omega$ and $\rho$ mesons have been simultaneously extracted and compared. [...]

Strangeness measurements in NA50 experiment with Pb projectiles / NA50 Collaboration
Low mass dimuon production has been studied in Pb-Pb collisions at 158 GeV/A. $\phi$ , $\rho$ and $\omega$ contributions are extracted in different transverse mass and transverse energy domains. [...]

$\phi$ production in Pb-Pb collisions at 158 GeV/c per nucleon incident momentum / Alessandro, B ; Alexa, C ; Arnaldi, R ; Astruc, J ; Atayan, M ; Baglin, C ; Baldit, A ; Beolè, S ; Boldea, V ; Bordalo, P et al.
The production of vector mesons $\phi$ , $\rho$ and $\omega$ has been measured in Pb-Pb collisions at 158 GeV/c per nucleon incident momentum at the CERN/SPS. The muon spectrometer of experiment NA50 detects $\phi$ , $\rho$ and $\omega$ mesons via their $\mu^{+} \mu^{-}$ decay channel in the collision center of mass rapidity range 0$\leqslant$ $\gamma_{CM}$ $\leqslant$ 1. J/$\psi$ suppression in Pb+Pb collisions at CERN SPS / Abreu, M C ; Alessandro, B ; Alexa, C ; Arnaldi, R ; Ataian, M R ; Baglin, C ; Baldit, A ; Bedjidian, Marc ; Beolè, S ; Boldea, V et al.
The NA38 and NA50 experiments at the CERN SPS have measured charmonium production in different colliding systems with the aim of observing a phase transition from ordinary hadronic matter towards a state in which quarks and gluons are deconfined (Quark Gluon Plasma, QGP). In fact it was predicted that the J/$\psi$ yield should be suppressed in deconfined matter. [...]

The J/$\psi$ normal nuclear absorption / NA50 Collaboration
We present a new determination of the ratio of cross-sections ($J/\psi$) /DY as expected for nucleus-nucleus reactions if J/psi would only be normally absorbed by nuclear matter. This anticipated behaviour is based on proton-nucleus data exclusively, and compared, as a function of centrality, with updated S-U results from experiment NA38 and with the most recent Pb-Pb results from experiment NA50..

The NA50 and NA38 experiments have studied muon pair production in p- A and nucleus-nucleus collisions at the CERN SPS. Results on dimuons in the invariant mass region between the $\phi$ and the J/$\psi$ masses (IMR) are presented. [...]

Dimuon and charm production in nucleus-nucleus collisions at the CERN-SPS / NA38 and NA50 Collaborations
Muon pair production in p-A, S-U and Pb-Pb collisions has been studied by the NA38 and NA50 collaborations at theCERN SPS. In this paper we present an analysis of the dimuon invariant mass region between the $\phi$ and the J/$\psi$. [...]

$\phi$, $\rho$ and $\omega$ production in Pb-Pb collisions at 158 GeV/$c^{2}$ per nucleon / NA50 Collaboration
The production of low mass dimuons has been measured in Pb-Pb collisions at the SPS (CERN), ($\phi$/($\rho$ + $\omega$)) ratios have been studied with respect to the centrality of the collision. Preliminary results on $\phi$ and ($\rho$ + $\omega$) multiplicities as a function of the number of participants are presented. [...]

J/$\psi$ production in proton-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus interactions at the CERN SPS / NA50 Collaboration
The NA38 and NA50 experiments at the CERN SPS have measured charmonium production in different colliding systems with the aim of observing a phase transition from ordinary hadronic matter towards a state in which quarks and gluons are deconfined (quark-gluon plasma, QGP). This experimental research is based on the prediction that the J/$\psi$ yield should be suppressed in deconfined matter. [...]

Results on leptonic probes from NA50 / NA50 Collaboration
The NA50 Collaboration has performed a new measurement of the J/$\psi$ yield in Pb-Pb collisions at 158 GeV/nucleon in improved experimental conditions. Our preliminary analysis of the year 2000 data sample, while confirming the onset of anomalous suppression and the non saturation of the J/$\psi$ / Drell-Yan cross-section ratio, shows that peripheral Pb-Pb interactions follow the normal nuclear absorption pattern, which has in turn been established more precisely thanks to high statistics p-A data.
