2S modules for the Phase-2 upgrade of the CMS tracker / Pooth, Oliver (RWTH Aachen U.)
The CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider LHC will face a new era after Long Shutdown 3, which is scheduled to take place between 2024 and 2026. The challenge of running a tracking detector at the High Luminosity LHC will be the high instantaneous luminosity of $5\times10^{34}$ s$^{-1}$cm$^{-2}$, leading to a total integrated luminosity of 3000 fb$^{-1}$. [...]

Hybrids pre-production results for the CMS Outer Tracker Phase-2 Upgrade / Blanchot, Georges (CERN)
The CMS Tracker Phase-2 Upgrade requires the production of two co-planar strip sensor (2S) modules, and strip and macro-pixel sensor (PS) modules to cope with the requirements of the HL-LHC. Altogether 47520 hybrid circuits are required to construct 8000 2S and 5880 PS modules. [...]

Qualification of macro-pixel sensor assemblies for the CMS Phase-2 outer tracker / Bhattacharya, Soham (DESY) /CMS Collaboration
The Phase-2 upgrade of the CMS detector for the high luminosity era of the LHC (HL-LHC) foresees the installation of a new tracking system to cope with the increased pileup and track multiplicity. The inner layers of the outer tracker will be equipped with pixel-strip modules that have a fine segmentation to provide an accurate position measurement. [...]

The CMS Experiment Tracker Upgrade for High Luminosity LHC / Ceccarelli, Rudy (INFN, Florence)
The High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC) at CERN is expected to collide protons at a centre-of-mass energy of 14\,TeV and to reach an unprecedented peak instantaneous luminosity of $5-7.5\times10^{34}\,\mathrm{cm^{-2}s^{-1}}$ with an average number of pileup events of 140--200. This will allow the CMS experiments to collect integrated luminosities up to 3000--4500\,fb$^{-1}$ during the project lifetime. To cope with this extreme scenario, the CMS detector will be substantially upgraded before starting the HL-LHC, a plan known as CMS Phase-2 upgrade. The entire CMS silicon tracker detector will be replaced and the new detector will feature increased radiation hardness, finer granularity, longer trigger latency and higher data rate capability. The new tracker will consist of two main subdetectors: the Inner Tracker, containing pixel modules, and the Outer Tracker, consisting of strip and macro-pixel modules. In this paper the Phase-2 upgrade of the CMS tracker is reviewed..
