Measurement of the Cross Section of W-boson pair production at LEP / L3 Collaboration
The cross section of W-boson pair-production is measured with the L3 detector at LEP. In a data sample corresponding to a total luminosity of 629.4/pb, collected at centre-of-mass energies ranging from 189 to 209 GeV, 9834 four-fermion events with W bosons decaying into hadrons or leptons are selected. Measurement of the mass and the width of the W boson at LEP / L3 Collaboration
The mass and the total decay width of the W boson are measured with the L3 detector at the LEP e+e- collider using W-boson pairs produced in 0.7/fb of data collected at centre-of-mass energies between 161 and 209GeV. Combining semi-leptonic and fully-hadronic final states, the mass and the width of the W boson are determined to be mW = 80.270 +/- 0.046 +/- 0.031 GeV and GW = 2.18 +/- 0.11 +/- 0.09 GeV, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic..

Determination of $\gamma/Z$ interference in $e^+ e^-$ annihilation at LEP / L3 Collaboration
An S--Matrix ansatz is used to determine the mass and width of the Z boson, aswell as the contributions of $\gamma$/Z interference and Z boson exchange tofermion--pair production. For this purpose we use hadron and lepton--pair production cross sections and lepton forward--backward asymmetries that havebeen measured with the L3 detector at centre--of--mass energies between87~Ge\kern -0.1em V\ and 189~Ge\kern -0.1em V..
