Beam test evaluation of electromagnetic calorimeter modules made from proton-damaged PbWO$_4$ crystals / Adams, T (Florida State U., Tallahassee (main)) ; Adzic, P (Belgrade U.) ; Ahuja, S (Sao Paulo, IFT) ; Anderson, D (Caltech) ; Andrews, M B (Carnegie Mellon U.) ; Antropov, I (Ecole Polytechnique) ; Antunovic, Z (Split U.) ; Arcidiacono, R (INFN, Turin ; Moscow, ITEP) ; Arenton, M W (Virginia U.) ; Argiro, S (INFN, Turin ; Moscow, ITEP) et al.
The performance of electromagnetic calorimeter modules made of proton-irradiated PbWO(4) crystals has been studied in beam tests. The modules, similar to those used in the Endcaps of the CMS electromagnetic calorimeter (ECAL), were formed from 5×5 matrices of PbWO(4) crystals, which had previously been exposed to 24 GeV protons up to integrated fluences between 2.1× 10(13) and 1.3× 10(14) cm(−)(2). Radiation hardness qualification of PbWO4 scintillation crystals for the CMS Electromagnetic Calorimeter / Adzic, P. (Belgrade U.) ; Almeida, N. (LIP, Lisbon) ; Andelin, D. (Virginia U.) ; Anicin, I. (Belgrade U.) ; Antunovic, Z. (Split U.) ; Arcidiacono, R. (Turin U. ; INFN, Turin) ; Arenton, M.W. (Virginia U.) ; Auffray, E. (CERN) ; Argiro, S. (Turin U. ; INFN, Turin) ; Askew, A. (Florida State U.) et al. /CMS Electromagnetic Calorimeter Group
Ensuring the radiation hardness of PbWO4 crystals was one of the main priorities during the construction of the electromagnetic calorimeter of the CMS experiment at CERN. The production on an industrial scale of radiation hard crystals and their certification over a period of several years represented a difficult challenge both for CMS and for the crystal suppliers. Intercalibration of the barrel electromagnetic calorimeter of the CMS experiment at start-up / CMS ECAL Collaboration
Calibration of the relative response of the individual channels of the barrel electromagnetic calorimeter of the CMS detector was accomplished before installation with cosmic ray muons and test beams. One fourth of the calorimeter was exposed to a beam of high energy electrons and the relative calibration of the channels, the intercalibration, was found to be reproducible to a precision of about 0.3\%. We report some highlights from the ARIES APEC workshop on ``Storage Rings and Gravitational Waves'' (SRGW2021), held in virtual space from 2 February to 18 March 2021, and sketch a tentative landscape for using accelerators and associated technologies for the detection or generation of gravitational waves..

Autoencoder-based Anomaly Detection System for Online Data Quality Monitoring of the CMS Electromagnetic Calorimeter / CMS ECAL Collaboration
The CMS detector is a general-purpose apparatus that detects high-energy collisions produced at the LHC. Online Data Quality Monitoring of the CMS electromagnetic calorimeter is a vital operational tool that allows detector experts to quickly identify, localize, and diagnose a broad range of detector issues that could affect the quality of physics data. Generalized event shape and energy flow studies in $e^+ e^-$ annihilation at $\sqrt{s}$ = 91.2-208.0 GeV / L3 Collaboration
We present results from a study of hadronic event structure in high energy e(+)e(-') interactions using the L3 detector at LEP. A new class of event shape distributions are measured at and above the Z boson pole for light quark (u, d, s, c) flavours. [...]

Report from Working Group 2 : Higgs Physics at the HL-LHC and HE-LHC / Cepeda, M. (CERN ; Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Gori, S. (UC, Santa Cruz, Inst. Part. Phys.) ; Ilten, P. (Birmingham U.) ; Kado, M. The discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012, by the ATLAS and CMS experiments, was a success achieved with only a percent of the entire dataset foreseen for the LHC. It opened a landscape of possibilities in the study of Higgs boson properties, Electroweak Symmetry breaking and the Standard Model in general, as well as new avenues in probing new physics beyond the Standard Model.
