The JYFLTRAP double Penning trap mass spectrometer at the Ion Guide Isotope Separator On-Line (IGISOL) facility offers excellent possibilities for high-precision mass measurements of radioactive ions. Around 400 atomic masses, including around 50 isomeric states, have been measured since JYFLTRAP became operational. [...]

Branching ratio of the super-allowed $\beta$ decay of $^{10}$C / Blank, B. (CENBG, Gradignan) ; Aouadi, M. (CENBG, Gradignan) ; Ascher, P. (CENBG, Gradignan) ; Gerbaux, M. (CENBG, Gradignan) ; Giovinazzo, J. (CENBG, Gradignan) ; Grévy, S. (CENBG, Gradignan) ; Kurtukian Nieto, T. (CENBG, Gradignan) ; Dunlop, M.R. (Guelph U.) ; Dunlop, R. (Guelph U.) ; Laffoley, A.T. (Guelph U.) et al.
In an experiment performed at the ISOLDE facility of CERN, the super-allowed beta-decay branching ratio of 10C was determined with a high-precision single-crystal germanium detector. In order to evaluate the contribution of the pile-up of two 511 keV gamma quanta to one of the gamma-ray peaks of interest at 1021.7 keV, data were not only taken with 10C, but also with a 19Ne beam. Phase-imaging ion-cyclotron-resonance technique has been implemented at the Penning-trap mass spectrometer JYFLTRAP and is routinely employed for mass measurements of stable and short-lived nuclides produced at IGISOL facility. Systematic uncertainties that impose limitations on the accuracy of measurements are discussed. [...]

Measurements of binding energies and electromagnetic moments of silver isotopes – A complementary benchmark of density functional theory / de Groote, R P (Jyvaskyla U. ; Leuven U.) ; Nesterenko, D A (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Kankainen, A (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Bissell, M L (Manchester U.) ; Beliuskina, O (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Bonnard, J (York U., England ; IP2I, Lyon) ; Campbell, P (Manchester U.) ; Canete, L (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Cheal, B (Liverpool U.) ; Delafosse, C (Jyvaskyla U.) et al.
We report on a set of high-precision measurements of nuclear binding and excitation energies, as well as nuclear spins, magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moments of neutron-rich silver isotopes, 113−123Ag. The measurements were performed using the JYFLTRAP mass spectrometer and the collinear laser spectroscopy beamline at the Ion Guide Isotope Separator On-Line (IGISOL) facility. [...]

Two-proton radioactivity was observed in 2002 in the decay of Fe-45. However, the experiments performed at that time did not allow the observation of the two protons directly. [...]

We report the first high-precision mass measurements of the neutron-rich nuclei $^{74,75}$Ni and the clearly identified ground state of $^{76}$Cu, along with a more precise mass-excess value of $^{78}$Cu, performed with the double Penning trap JYFLTRAP at the Ion Guide Isotope Separator On-Line (IGISOL) facility. These new results lead to a quantitative estimation of the quenching for the $N=50$ neutron shell gap. [...]

$\beta$ and $\gamma$-spectroscopy study of $^{119}$Pd and $^{119}$Ag / Kurpeta, J (Warsaw U.) ; Abramuk, A (Warsaw U.) ; Rząca-Urban, T (Warsaw U.) ; Urban, W (Warsaw U.) ; Canete, L (Surrey U.) ; Eronen, T (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Geldhof, S (Leuven U.) ; Gierlik, M (NCBJ, Swierk) ; Greene, J P (Argonne (main)) ; Jokinen, A (Jyvaskyla U.) et al.
Neutron-rich $^{119}$Pd nuclei were produced in fission of natural uranium, induced by 25-MeV protons. Fission fragments swiftly extracted with the Ion Guide Isotope Separation On-Line method were mass separated using a dipole magnet and a Penning trap, providing mono-isotopic samples of $^{119}$Pd.
