The Cosmic Ray Energetics And Mass (CREAM) is a balloon-borne experiment designed to measure the composition and energy spectra of cosmic rays of charge Z = 1 to 26 up to an energy of ~ 10^15 eV. CREAM had two successful flights on long-duration balloons (LDB) launched from Mc- Murdo Station, Antarctica, in December 2004 and December 2005. [...]

The CREAM-III Calorimeter
/ Malinin, A (Maryland U.) ; Lee, M H (Maryland U.) ; Ahn, H S (Maryland U.) ; Ganel, O (Maryland U.) ; Han, J H (Maryland U.) ; Jeon, J A (Ewha Women's U., Seoul) ; Kim, C H (Maryland U.) ; Kim, K C (Maryland U.) ; Lutz, L (Maryland U.) ; Nam, S (Ewha Women's U., Seoul) et al.
After successful recovery of the first CREAM (Cosmic Ray Energetics And Mass) instrument during the 2004\/5 Antarctic campaign, the calorimeter was refurbished for the third launch, planned for December 2007. In this CREAM-III calorimeter, the optics were replaced with multi-clad fiber ribbons to enhance the light signal. [...]

We present a measurement of the $W$-boson mass, $M_W$, using data corresponding to 2.2/fb of integrated luminosity collected in ppbar collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 1.96 TeV with the CDF II detector at the Fermilab Tevatron. The selected sample of 470126 $W\to e\nu$ candidates and 624708 $W\to\mu\nu$ candidates yields the measurement $M_W = 80387\pm 12$ (stat) $\pm 15$ (syst)$ = 80387 \pm 19$ MeV$/c^2$ . [...]

/AMS
Knowledge of the rigidity dependence of the boron to carbon flux ratio (B/C) is important in understanding the propagation of cosmic rays. The precise measurement of the B/C ratio from 1.9 GV to 2.6 TV, based on 2.3 million boron and 8.3 million carbon nuclei collected by AMS during the first 5 years of operation, is presented. [...]
