Fast phase switching within the bunch train of the PHIN photo-injector at CERN using fiber-optic modulators on the drive laser / Divall Csatari, M (CERN) ; Andersson, A (CERN) ; Bolzon, B (CERN) ; Bravin, E (CERN) ; Chevallay, E (CERN) ; Dobert, S (CERN) ; Drozdy, A (CERN) ; Fedosseev, V (CERN) ; Hessler, C (CERN) ; Lefevre, T (CERN) et al.
The future Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) e^-/e^+ collider is based on the two-beam acceleration concept, whereby interleaving electron bunches of the drive beam through a delay loop and combiner rings as well as high peak RF power at 12GHz are created locally to accelerate a second beam, the main beam. One of the main objectives of the currently operational CLIC Test Facility (CTF3) is to demonstrate beam combination from 1.5GHz to 12GHz, which requires satellite-free fast phase-switching of the drive beam with sub-ns speed. Integration of the PHIN RF Gun into the CLIC Test Facility / Döbert, Steffen (CERN)
CERN is a collaborator within the European PHIN project, a joint research activity for Photo injectors within the CARE program. A deliverable of this project is an rf Gun equipped with high quantum efficiency Cs2Te cathodes and a laser to produce the nominal beam for the CLIC Test Facility (CTF3). [...]

Design and Results of a Time Resolved Spectrometer for the 5 MeV Photo-Injector Phin / Dabrowski, A (CERN) ; Doebert, S (CERN) ; Egger, D (LPHE, Lausanne) ; Mete, O (LPHE, Lausanne) ; Lefevre, T (CERN)
The CLIC Test Facility 3 (CTF3) drive beam injector should provide high intensity and high quality electron beams. The present installation relies on a thermionic gun followed by a complex RF bunching system. [...]

Study of the Powerful Nd:YLF Laser Amplifiers for the CTF3 Photoinjectors / Petrarca, M (CERN) ; Martyanov, M (Nizhnii Novgorod, IAP) ; Luchinin, G (Nizhnii Novgorod, IAP) ; Divall, M (CERN)
A high-power neodymium-doped yttrium lithium fluoride (Nd:YLF) mode-locked 1.5-GHz laser currently used to drive the two photoinjectors of the Compact Linear Collider Test Facility project at the European Organization for Nuclear Research is described. A phenomenological characterization of the two powerful Nd:YLF amplifiers is presented and compared with the measurements. [...]
