Full NLO QCD predictions for Higgs-pair production in the 2-Higgs-Doublet Model
/ Baglio, J. (CERN ; QuantumBasel) ; Campanario, F. (Valencia U. ; Valencia U., IFIC) ; Glaus, S. (KIT, Karlsruhe, TP ; KIT, Karlsruhe, IKP) ; Mühlleitner, M. (KIT, Karlsruhe, TP) ; Ronca, J. (Rome III U. ; INFN, Rome3) ; Spira, M. (PSI, Villigen)
After the discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012 at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the study of its properties still leaves room for an extended Higgs sector with more than one Higgs boson. 2-Higgs Doublet Models (2HDMs) are well-motivated extensions of the Standard Model (SM) with five physical Higgs bosons: two CP-even states $h$ and $H$, one CP-odd state $A$, and two charged states $H^\pm_{}$. Full NLO QCD corrections to Higgs-pair production in the Standard Model and beyond
/ Baglio, Julien (CERN) ; Campanario, Francisco (Valencia U., IFIC ; Karlsruhe U., ITP) ; Glaus, Seraina (Karlsruhe U., ITP ; Karlsruhe U.) ; Mühlleitner, Milada Margarete (Karlsruhe U., ITP) ; Ronca, Jonathan (Valencia U., IFIC) ; Spira, Michael (PSI, Villigen)
Higgs-pair production is one of the targets of the high-luminosity LHC and of future hadron colliders, as it allows for a direct probe of the trilinear Higgs coupling and hence of the mechanism behind electroweak symmetry breaking. This contribution focuses on the impact of the full next- to-leading order QCD corrections to Higgs-pair production via gluon fusion, the main production mechanism at hadron colliders, in the Standard Model and in Two-Higgs-Doublet models. Doubly-polarized WZ hadronic cross sections at NLO QCD + EW accuracy
/ Le, Duc Ninh (Phenikaa U., Hanoi) ; Baglio, Julien (CERN)
We present new results for next-to-leading order (NLO) electroweak (EW) corrections to double polarization signals in the $WZ$ production channel at the LHC using the $e^+\nu_e \mu^+ \mu^-$ final state. It is found that the EW corrections are most sizable in the transverse momentum distributions of the doubly longitudinal polarization, being around -10% compared to the NLO QCD prediction at $p_{T,e}\approx 200$ GeV, which is in the accessible energy range of the current LHC data..

Style-based quantum generative adversarial networks for Monte Carlo events

We propose and assess an alternative quantum generator architecture in the context of generative adversarial learning for Monte Carlo event generation, used to simulate particle physics processes at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). We validate this methodology by implementing the quantum network on artificial data generated from known underlying distributions. [...]

In this contribution the next-to-leading (NLO) QCD corrections to Higgs boson pair production are discussed. A brief sketch of the calculation is given. [...]
