Crab Cavities for ILC / McIntosh, Peter (Daresbury ; Cockcroft Inst. Accel. Sci. Tech.) ; Belomestnykh, Sergey (Fermilab) ; Burt, Graeme (Lancaster U. ; Cockcroft Inst. Accel. Sci. Tech.) ; Calaga, Rama (CERN) ; De Silva, Subashini (Jefferson Lab ; Old Dominion U. For the 14 mrad crossing angle proposed, crab cavity systems are fundamentally anticipated for the viable operation of the International Linear Collider (ILC), in order to maximise its luminosity performance. Since 2021, a specialist development team have been defining optimum crab cavity technologies which can fulfil the operational requirements for ILC, both for its baseline centre-of-mass energy of 250 GeV, but also extending those requirements out to higher beam collision intensities. SC Crab Cavity with Reduced Transverse Size for the LHC Upgrade / Solyak, N (Fermilab) ; Gonin, I (Fermilab) ; Khabiboulline, T (Fermilab) ; Yakovlev, V (Fermilab)
In the paper the Crab Cavity is described for local Crab schemes for LHC that demand reduced transverse cavity dimensions small enough to fit limited space necessary for the beams separation. The results of the configuration cavity optimization are presented that include (a) the surface field minimization; (b) parasitic monopole and dipole spectrum optimization and dumping, (c) the input and the parasitic mode damping couplers design. High Gradient Performance of NLC/GLC X-Band Accelerating Structures / Döbert, Steffen ; Adolphsen, Chris ; Boffo, Cristian ; Bowden, Gordon B ; Burke, David ; Carter, Harry ; Chan, Jose ; Dolgashev, Valery A ; Frisch, Josef ; Funahashi, Y et al.
During the past five years, there has been an concerted effort at FNAL, KEK and SLAC to develop accelerator structures that meet the high gradient performance requirements for the Next Linear Collider (NLC) and Global Linear Collider (GLC) initiatives. The structure that resulted is a 60-cm-long, traveling-wave design with low group velocity (< 4% c) and a 150 degree phase advance per cell. [...]

High Power Phase Shifter / Terechkine, Yuri ; Gonin, Ivan V ; Khabiboulline, Timergali N ; Makarov, Alexander ; Solyak, Nikolay ; Wildman, David ; William Foster, G
One of the approaches to power distribution system of a superconducting proton linac that is under discussion at Fermilab requires development of a fast-action, megawatt-range phase shifter. Using two phase shifters with a waveguide hybrid junction can allow independent control of phase and amplitude of RF power at the input of each superconducting cavity of the linac. [...]
