First measurement of prompt and non-prompt ${\rm D^{*+}}$ vector meson spin alignment in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
This letter reports the first measurement of spin alignment, with respect to the helicity axis, for ${\rm D^{*+}}$ vector mesons and their charge conjugates from charm-quark hadronisation (prompt) and from beauty-meson decays (non-prompt) in hadron collisions. The measurements were performed at midrapidity ($|y|<0.8$) as a function of transverse momentum ($p_{\rm T}$) in proton-proton (pp) collisions collected by ALICE at the centre-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV. A Teacher’s Perspective on the CERN Beamline for Schools Competition / Boselli, Margherita (CERN) ; Bulson, Alison (West High School, Salt Lake City) ; Arce-Larreta, Enrique (West High School, Salt Lake City) ; Elorza, Uriel Garcia (UNAM, Mexico) ; Felici, Maria Rita (Liceo Sci. Stat., Ferno) ; González-Trueba, Laura Helena (UNAM, Mexico) ; Jacques, Denis (Ecole second. Cath., Cambridge, Ontario) ; Joos, Markus (CERN) ; Kempa, Janusz (Marshal Malachowski Second. We are a group of teachers who have independently participated in the CERN Beamline for Schools (BL4S) competition with teams of high school students from our schools between 2014 and 2021. All of our teams won the competition, and therefore our students had the opportunity to perform their proposed experiments at a particle accelerator. [...]

Measurement of (anti)nuclei production in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 8.16$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
Measurements of (anti)proton, (anti)deuteron, and (anti)$^3$He production in the rapidity range $-1<y< 0$ as a function of the transverse momentum and event multiplicity in p-Pb collisions at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon-nucleon pair $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 8.16$ TeV are presented. The coalescence parameters $B_2$ and $B_3$, measured as a function of the transverse momentum per nucleon and of the mean charged-particle multiplicity density, confirm a smooth evolution from low to high multiplicity across different collision systems and energies. [...]

Multiplicity dependence of charged-particle production in pp, p-Pb, Xe-Xe and Pb-Pb collisions at the LHC / ALICE Collaboration
Multiplicity ($N_{\mathrm {ch}}$) distributions and transverse momentum ($p_{\mathrm T}$) spectra of inclusive primary charged particles in the kinematic range of $|\eta| < 0.8$ and 0.15 GeV/$c$ $< p_{\mathrm T} < 10$ GeV/$c$ are reported for pp, p-Pb, Xe-Xe and Pb-Pb collisions at centre-of-mass energies per nucleon pair ranging from $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}} = 2.76$ TeV up to 13 TeV. A sequential two-dimensional unfolding procedure is used to extract the correlation between the transverse momentum of primary charged particles and the charged-particle multiplicity of the corresponding collision. Femtoscopic correlations of non-identical charged kaons ($\rm K^+ K^-$) are studied in Pb$-$Pb collisions at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon$-$nucleon collision $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}} =2.76$ TeV by ALICE at the LHC. One-dimensional $\rm K^+ K^-$ correlation functions are analyzed in three centrality classes and eight intervals of particle-pair transverse momentum. [...]

J/$\psi$ production at midrapidity in p$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 8.16$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The production of inclusive, prompt and non-prompt J/$\psi$ was studied for the first time at midrapidity ($ -1.37 < y_{\rm cms} < 0.43$) in p$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 8.16$ TeV with the ALICE detector at the LHC. The inclusive J/$\psi$ mesons were reconstructed in the dielectron decay channel in the transverse momentum ($p_{\rm T}$) interval $0 < p_{\rm T} < 14$ \GeVc and the prompt and non-prompt contributions were separated on a statistical basis for $p_{\rm T} > 2$ \GeVc. This article reports measurements of the angle between differently defined jet axes in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 5.02$ TeV carried out by the ALICE Collaboration. Charged particles at midrapidity are clustered into jets with resolution parameters $R=0.2$ and 0.4. [...]

Two-particle transverse momentum correlations in pp and p-Pb collisions at LHC energies / ALICE Collaboration
Two-particle transverse momentum differential correlators, recently measured in Pb-Pb collisions at LHC energies, provide an additional tool to gain insights into particle production mechanisms and infer transport properties, such as the ratio of shear viscosity to entropy density, of the medium created in Pb--Pb collisions. The longitudinal long-range correlations and the large azimuthal anisotropy measured at low transverse momenta in small collision systems, namely pp and p-Pb, at LHC energies resemble manifestations of collective behaviour. Production of ${\rm K}^{0}_{\rm{S}}$, $\Lambda$ ($\overline{\Lambda}$), $\Xi^{\pm}$ and $\Omega^{\pm}$ in jets and in the underlying event in pp and p$-$Pb collisions / ALICE Collaboration
The production of strange hadrons (${\rm K}^{0}_{\rm{S}}$, ${\Lambda}$, $\Xi^{\pm}$, and $\Omega^{\pm}$), baryon-to-meson ratios (${\Lambda}/{\rm K}^{0}_{\rm{S}}$, $\Xi/{\rm K}^{0}_{\rm{S}}$, and $\Omega/{\rm K}^{0}_{\rm{S}}$), and baryon-to-baryon ratios ($\Xi/{\Lambda}$, $\Omega/{\Lambda}$, and $\Omega/\Xi$) associated with jets and the underlying event were measured as a function of transverse momentum ($p_{\rm T}$) in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$~TeV and p$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$~TeV with the ALICE detector at the LHC. The inclusive production of the same particle species and the corresponding ratios are also reported. [...]
