Not Without Us! Youth Leading the Charge: Reflections from RCOY Africa The recent RCOY Africa conference was a powerful testament to young African activists' passion, commitment, and resilience. Over 210 young leaders from 40 countries came together, driven by a shared determination to confront the climate crisis. Many made significant personal sacrifices, such as forfeiting personal commitments and taking loans, to ensure their voices were heard at these gatherings.

Launch of CDKN in Senegal seeks to accelerate inclusive climate action On the 16th July 2024, the CDKN programme was officially launched in Senegal, the first francophone country to join the programme in its third phase. Senegal joins Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya and Namibia as the fifth focal country in Africa, and will be led by ENDA ENERGIE.
