Pokémon (Dance Mix)
Pokémon - Dance Mix is the name of the song played during the last seconds of the main trailers for the first three movies, as well as the first movie's main DVD menu. It also appeared in the English dub of Misty Meets Her Match! and Lights, Camera, Quack-tion!, as well as a Japanese trailer for Sky-Splitting Visitor: Deoxys. It is performed by the late Vicki Sue Robinson.
This song is available in the Pokémon 2.B.A. Master CD. A non-lyrical version is featured in the game Pokémon Puzzle League as the theme song for Lorelei.
An alternate cut was used on the VHS A Sneak Peek at Pokémon.
Lyrics
Pokémon-mon-mon
Pokémon-mon-mon
Oh yeah!
Pokémon-mon-mon
Pokémon-mon-mon
Pokémon-mon-mon
Pokémon-mon-mon
The journey's just begun
The more the better
Team Rocket's on the run
We're friends forever
You've got the power
Right in your hands
They'll evolve before your eyes
A world of magic
At your command
You can be a master if you try
Pokémon-mon-mon
Pokémon-mon-mon
Pokémon-mon-mon
Searching everyday
For the answer
No time to delay
This grand adventure
Oh yeah
Pokémon, you've got the power
Pokémon, yeah
Pokémon, you've got the power
Pokémon, yeah yeah yeah yeah
Team united, we'll always win
Together we stand tall
Unlock the secrets deep within
Learn to be the greatest of them all
Pokémon-mon-mon
Pokémon-mon-mon
Pokémon-mon-mon
The journey's just begun
The more the better
Team Rocket's on the run
We're friends forever
You've got the power
You've got the power
You've got the power
Pokémon, oh yeah..
You can be a master if you try!
There's no time to delay, delay, delay, delay...
You've got the power!
