OVGP1
Jajovodno-specifični glikoprotein , znan i kao jajovodni glikoprotein (OGP) ili estrogen-ovisni jajovodni protein (EGP) ili mucin-9 (MUC9) jest protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom OVGP1 sa hromosoma 1.[5][6][7]

Funkcija
urediGlikoprotein specifičan za jajovode je veliki, bogat ugljikohidratima, epitelni glikoprotein sa brojnim O-glikozilacijskim mjestima unutar treoninom, serinom i prolinom bogatih tandemskih ponavlja. Gen je sličan članovima porodice sluznih gena i glikozil hidrolaze 18. Regulacija ekspresije može biti estrogen-ovisna. Ekspresija gena i sekrecija proteina javljaju se tokom kasnog razvoja folikula u ranoj fazi embriogeneze. Protein se luči iz epitelnih ćelija ovidukt a bez cilija i povezuje se sa ovulskimm oocitom, blastomerama i akrosomnim regijama spermatozoida.[7]
Iza jajovoda, OVGP1 je otkriven u mišjim jajnicima, sjemenicima i epididimisu, što ukazuje na njegovu ulogu izvan oplodnje. Ne otkriva se u mišjoj maternici, grliću materice, vagini, dojkama, sjemenim vezikulama i prostati.[9] OVGP1 je eksprimiran u površinskomm epitelu endometrija u vrijeme implantacije kod miša. Potreban je za održavanje fenotipa receptivnosti i adhezije trofoblasta, a nivoi OVGP1 iRNK smanjeni su u endometriju žena sa rekurentnim neuspjehom implantacije[10]
