Funkcija

Klaspin u žaba roda Xenopus je esencijalni uzvodni regulator kinazne kontrolne tačke 1 i pokreće zaustavljanje kontrolne tačke ćelijskog ciklusa u prisustvu DNK šablona u ekstraktima ksenopusovih jaja. Čini se da je ljudski gen homolog njegovom klaspinu, a njegova funkcija još nije utvrđena.[7]
