Shipping Information

Individual AMS members receive free standard shipping on orders delivered to addresses in the United States (including Puerto Rico) and Canada.
Not yet an AMS Member? Non-members can add a membership to any book order and begin receiving the free standard shipping benefit on that same order.

For orders being shipped within the contiguous US*, the standard rates are as follows:

  • Standard (7-10 business days): \$4.75 for the first item and \$1.25 for each additional item
  • Expedited (2-3 business days): \$11.30 for the first item and \$3.30 for each additional item
  • Next Day Air (1-2 business days): \$16.50 for the first item and \$4.35 for each additional item (Please note: you must contact Customer Service to request this method of shipping)

Delivery times are based on the selected carrier's shipping estimates. Order processing can take up to 48 hours depending on the day of the week and the time an order is placed.

*Rates for Alaska and Hawaii are based on weight and class of service. For shipping costs, please contact Customer Service. Rates subject to change without notice.

For orders being shipped outside the US, the standard rates are as follows:

  • International Standard Service (4-6 weeks**): \$9.75 for the first item and \$8.25 for each additional item
  • Other international shipping services are quoted on a per order basis based on destination country, available delivery methods and customs requirements. Please contact Customer Service for a quotation.

Orders with multiple items will be shipped to you as the books become available, and usual per item/per additional item charges will be applied, depending on the shipping options chosen. Full shipping charges will be assessed at the time the first shipment is made. For example, if you order three items by Standard Ground shipping in the U.S., with two items in stock and one available in three weeks, the two items in stock will ship immediately and you will be charged \$7.25 (\$4.75 for the first item, and \$1.25 each for the two additional items). The expected availability of your third item will be noted on your packing slip. When the third item is available, it will be shipped at no additional charge.
