Jim Keddie was a talented half forward and wingman who played 65 VFL games and kicked three goals for St Kilda from 1927 to 1931. He retired somewhat prematurely, aged 24, in order to concentrate on his business interests. Keddie, who was the uncle of Bob Keddie (profiled above), had commenced his senior football career with 47 games and two goals for Brunswick in the VFA from 1924 to 1926.
