William Vaux, 3rd Baron Vaux of Harrowden was born before 14 August 1535.2 He was the son of Thomas Vaux, 2nd Baron Vaux of Harrowden and Elizabeth Cheney.3 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Beaumont, daughter of John Beaumont and Elizabeth Hastings, before 1 June 1557.4 He married, secondly, Mary Tresham, daughter of John Tresham, in 1563.2 He died on 20 August 1595.2
He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Vaux of Harrowden, co. Northampton [E., 1523] in 1556.2 A recusant, hence often imprisoned and fined, his most celebrated role in this regard being the harbourer of Edmund Campion.2

Elizabeth Chamberlaine was the daughter of John Chamberlaine and Katharine Plowden.1,2 She married John Neville, 8th Lord Abergavenny, son of Henry Neville, 7th Lord Abergavenny and Catherine Vaux.1 She died between November 1669 and 1693.1 She died intestate and her estate was administered on 5 January 1693/94.2
Her married name became Neville.1 After her marriage, Elizabeth Chamberlaine was styled as Baroness Bergavenny circa December 1641.
