Destruction of the cosmic $\gamma$-ray emitter $^{26}$Al in massive stars: Study of the key $^{26}$Al$(n,p)$ reaction / n_TOF Collaboration
The  $^{26}$Al$(n,p)$ $^{26}$Mg reaction is the key reaction impacting on the abundances of the cosmic  γ -ray emitter  $^{26}$Al  produced in massive stars and impacts on the potential pollution of the early solar system with  $^{26}$Al  by asymptotic giant branch stars. A Segmented Total Energy Detector (sTED) optimized for $(n,\gamma)$ cross-section measurements at n_TOF EAR2 / n_TOF Collaboration

Measurement of the $^{14}$N(n,p)$^{14}$C cross section at the CERN n_TOF facility from sub-thermal energy to 800 keV / n_TOF Collaboration

Challenging neutron-capture cross-section measurements of small cross sections and samples with a very limited number of atoms require high-flux time-of-flight facilities. Experimental setup and procedure for the measurement of the $^7$Be(n,p)$^7$Li reaction at n_TOF / n_TOF Collaboration
Following the completion of the second neutron beam line and the related experimental area (EAR2) at the n_TOF spallation neutron source at CERN, several experiments were planned and performed.
