Update of the global electroweak fit and constraints on two-Higgs-doublet models / Haller, Johannes (Hamburg U.) ; Hoecker, Andreas (CERN) ; Kogler, Roman (Hamburg U.) ; Mönig, Klaus (DESY ; DESY, Zeuthen) ; Peiffer, Thomas (Gottingen U., II. Phys. Inst.) ; Stelzer, Jörg (CERN)
We present an update of the global fit of the Standard Model electroweak sector to latest experimental results. We include new kinematic top quark and $W$ boson mass measurements from the LHC, a $\sin^2\theta^{\ell}_{\mathrm{eff}}$ result from the Tevatron, and a new evaluation of the hadronic contribution to $\alpha(M_Z^2)$. Weak Radiative Decays of the B Meson and Bounds on $M_{H^\pm}$ in the Two-Higgs-Doublet Model / Misiak, Mikolaj (CERN ; Warsaw U.) ; Steinhauser, Matthias (KIT, Karlsruhe, TTP)
In a recent publication [6], the Belle collaboration updated their analysis of the inclusive weak radiative B-meson decay, including the full dataset of (772 +_ 11) x 10^6 BBbar pairs. Their result for the branching ratio is now below the Standard Model prediction [7,8], though it remains consistent with it. [...]

The small $k_{\textrm{T}}$region in Drell–Yan production at next-to-leading order with the parton branching method / Bubanja, I. (Montenegro U. ; Vrije U., Brussels) ; Bermudez Martinez, A. (Antwerp U.) ; Mendizabal, M. (DESY) ; Figueroa, K. Moral (DESY) ; Moureaux, L. (Hamburg U.) et al.
The Parton Branching (PB) method describes the evolution of transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton distributions, covering all kinematic regions from small to large transverse momenta kT. The small kT-region is very sensitive both to the contribution of the intrinsic motion of partons (intrinsic kT) and to the resummation of soft gluons taken into account by the PB TMD evolution equations. NNLO interpolation grids for jet production at the LHC / Britzger, D. (Munich, Max Planck Inst.) ; Gehrmann-De Ridder, A. (Zurich, ETH ; Zurich U.) ; Gehrmann, T. (Zurich U.) ; Glover, E.W. N. (Sussex U.) et al.
Fast interpolation-grid frameworks facilitate an efficient and flexible evaluation of higher-order predictions for any choice of parton distribution functions or value of the strong coupling $\alpha_s$. They constitute an essential tool for the extraction of parton distribution functions and Standard Model parameters, as well as studies of the dependence of cross sections on the renormalisation and factorisation scales. Exploring SMEFT couplings using the forward–backward asymmetry in neutral current Drell–Yan production at the LHC / Abdolmaleki, Hamed (IPM, Tehran ; Lorestan U.) ; Amoroso, Simone (DESY) ; Britzger, Daniel (Munich, Max Planck Inst.) ; Dattola, Filippo (DESY) ; Fiaschi, Juri (INFN, Milan Bicocca ; Milan Bicocca U.) ; Giuli, Francesco (CERN) ; Glazov, Alexander (DESY) ; Hautmann, Francesco (CERN ; Antwerp U. ; Oxford U.) ; Luszczak, Agnieszka (Cracow Tech. Neutral current Drell-Yan (DY) lepton-pair production is considered in the framework of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT). Using the open-source fit platform xFitter, we investigate the impact of high-statistics measurements of the neutral current DY (NCDY) forward-backward asymmetry $A_{\rm{FB}}$ near the weak boson mass scale in the present and forthcoming stages of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). ALP-ine quests at the LHC: hunting axion-like particles via peaks and dips in $t \bar{t}$ production / Anuar, Afiq (CERN) ; Biekötter, Anke (Mainz U., Inst. Phys. ; U. Mainz, PRISMA) ; Biekötter, Thomas (KIT, Karlsruhe, TP) ; Grohsjean, Alexander (Hamburg U.) ; Heinemeyer, Sven (Madrid, IFT) ; Jeppe, Laurids (DESY) ; Schwanenberger, Christian (Hamburg U. ; DESY) ; Weiglein, Georg (DESY ; Hamburg U., Inst. Theor. Phys. II)
We present an analysis of the sensitivity of current and future LHC searches for new spin-0 particles in top-anti-top-quark ($t\bar{t}$) final states, focusing on generic axion-like particles (ALPs) that are coupled to top quarks and gluons. As a first step, we derive new limits on the effective ALP Lagrangian in terms of the Wilson coefficients $c_t$ and $c_{\tilde{G}}$ based on the results of the CMS search using $35.9$ fb$^{-1}$ of data, collected at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV.
