Hybrid on-axis and off-axis top-up injection at the future circular lepton collider / Yue, Sen (CERN) ; Dutheil, Yann (CERN) ; Bartmann, Wolfgang (CERN) ; Johnson, Eliott (CERN) ; Martinek, Petr (CERN)
In order to maximize the integrated luminosity of the future circular lepton collider (FCC-ee), a top-up injection scheme is required. Amongst the four operation modes of FCC-ee, the Z operation mode has the highest stored beam energy in the collider ring with about 20 MJ per beam. [...]

Concepts and Considerations for FCC-ee Top-Up Injection Strategies / Ramjiawan, Rebecca (CERN) ; Aiba, Masamitsu (PSI, Villigen) ; Bartmann, Wolfgang (CERN) ; Dutheil, Yann (CERN) ; Hofer, Michael (CERN) ; Hunchak, Patrick (PSI, Villigen)
The Future Circular electron-positron Collider (FCC-ee) is proposed to operate in four modes, with beam energies from 45.6 GeV (Z-pole) to 182.5 GeV (tt-bar production) and luminosities up to 4.6×10³⁶ cm²s⁻¹. At the highest energies the beam lifetime would be less than one hour, meaning that top-up injection will be crucial to maximise the integrated luminosity. [...]

FCC-ee $e^+e^-$ Injection and Booster rRng / Ramjiawan, Rebecca (CERN) ; Barnes, Michael (CERN) ; Bartmann, Wolfgang (CERN) ; Borburgh, Jan (CERN) ; Chancé, Antoine (Saclay) ; Dalena, Barbara (IRFU, Saclay) ; Dutheil, Yann (CERN) ; Hofer, Michael (CERN) ; Howling, Emily (Royal Holloway, U. of London) ; Hunchak, Patrick (Saskatchewan U.)
The Future Circular electron-positron Collider (FCC-ee) is a proposal for a 91.17 km collider, which would operate in four modes with energies ranging from 45.6 GeV (Z-pole) to 182.5 GeV (ttbar-production). At high energies the beam lifetime could be as low as 6 minutes, requiring the beam to be continuously topped up to reach a high integrated luminosity. [...]

Top-up injection for FCC-ee / Aiba, Masamitsu (PSI, Villigen) ; Hernandez, Angela Saa (PSI, Villigen) ; Zimmermann, Frank (CERN)
Top-up injection is essential for FCC-ee due to the very short luminosity lifetime especially for the Higgs and top-pair operation modes. [...]

Studies on Top-Up Injection into the FCC-ee Collider Ring / Hunchak, Patrick (Saskatchewan U., CLS ; Saskatchewan U.) ; Aiba, Masamitsu (PSI, Villigen) ; Bartmann, Wolfgang (CERN) ; Boland, Mark (Saskatchewan U., CLS ; Saskatchewan U.) ; Dutheil, Yann (CERN) ; Hofer, Michael (CERN) ; Ramjiawan, Rebecca (CERN) ; Zimmermann, Frank (CERN)
In order to maximize the luminosity production time in the FCC-ee, top-up injection will be employed. The positron and electron beams will be accelerated to the collision energy in the booster ring before being injected with either a small transverse or longitudinal separation to the stored beam. [...]

Status of the FCC-ee Top-Up Booster Synchrotron / Härer, Bastian (CERN) ; Holzer, Bernhard (CERN) ; Papaphilippou, Yannis (CERN) ; Tydecks, Tobias (CERN)
This contribution presents the status of the top-up booster synchrotron for the FCC electron-positron collider FCC-ee, which is a 100 km electron-positron collider being designed for precision studies and rare decay observations in the range of 90 to 365 GeV centre-of-mass energy. In order to keep the luminosity at a level of the order of 10³⁵ cm⁻²s⁻¹ continuous top-up injection is required, because of the short beam lifetime of less than one hour. [...]

Top-up injection schemes for future circular lepton collider / Aiba, M (PSI, Villigen) ; Goddard, B (CERN) ; Oide, K (CERN ; KEK, Tsukuba) ; Papaphilippou, Y (CERN) ; Saá Hernández, Á (PSI, Villigen) ; Shwartz, D (Novosibirsk, IYF) ; White, S (ESRF, Grenoble) ; Zimmermann, F (CERN)
Top-up injection is an essential ingredient for the future circular lepton collider (FCC-ee) to maximize the integrated luminosity and it determines the design performance. In ttbar operation mode, with a beam energy of 175 GeV, the design lifetime of ∼ 1 h is the shortest of the four anticipated operational modes, and the beam lifetime may be even shorter in actual operation.
