Muon identification and performance in the ATLAS experiment / Kluit, Peter (FOM - Institute SAF Nikhef and University of Amsterdam/Nikhef) /ATLAS Collaboration
Muon reconstruction and identification play a fundamental role in many analyses of central importance in the LHC run-2 Physics pro- gramme. The algorithms and the criteria used in ATLAS for the recon- struction and identification of muons with transverse momenta ranging from a few GeV to the TeV scale will be presented. [...]

Miniball : a $\gamma$-ray spectrometer with position-sensitive Ge detectors for nuclear structure studies at REX-ISOLDE / Eberth, J ; Franchoo, S ; Gast, W ; Gerl, J ; Gund, C ; Habs, D ; Huyse, A ; Lauer, M ; Liebli, K ; Lieder, R M et al.
Miniball is a dedicated Ge detector array which has been developed for the investigation of rare $\gamma$ decays at the new radioactive beam facility REX-ISOLDE at CERN. The array is optimised for high full-energy peak efficiency and for high granularity needed to perform Doppler corrections of $\gamma$-rays emitted by fast moving nuclei. [...]

First $\gamma$-rays from radioactive beams at REX-ISOLDE / Scheit, H (Max-Planck-Inst fur Kernphys) /REX-ISOLDE Collaboration
In order to demonstrate a novel scheme to accelerate radioactive ions and to provide radioactive ion beams for physics experiments, the radioactive beam experiment (REX) was installed at ISOLDE, CERN. One of the main experimental devices that will use these beams is the newly commissioned HPGe array MINIBALL featuring an excellent granularity, energy resolution, and rate capability. [...]

The Digital Algorithm Processors for the ATLAS Level-1 Calorimeter Trigger / Silverstein, S
The ATLAS Level-1 Calorimeter Trigger identifies high-ET jets, electrons/photons and hadrons and measures total and missing transverse energy in proton-proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider. Two subsystems – the Jet/Energy-sum Processor (JEP) and the Cluster Processor(CP) – process data from every crossing, and report feature multiplicities and energy sums to the ATLAS Central Trigger Processor, which produces a Level-1 Accept decision. [...]
