Scattering of halo nuclei on heavy targets at energies around the Coulomb barrier: The case of $^{11}$Be on $^{197}$Au / Pesudo, V (Western Cape U. ; iThemba LABS) ; Borge, M J G (CSIC, Madrid ; CERN) ; Moro, A M (Seville U.) ; Lay, J A (Seville U.) ; Nácher, E (CSIC, Madrid) ; Gómez-Camacho, J (Seville U. ; CNA, Seville) ; Tengblad, O (CSIC, Madrid) ; Acosta, L (Mexico U.) ; Alcorta, M (Argonne, PHY) ; Alvarez, M A G (Sao Paulo U.) et al.
This work reports on the scattering of $^{11}$Be on $^{197}$Au at energies around and below the Coulomb barrier. By experimentally identifying the elastic scattering, inelastic scattering and breakup channels, and comparing them with different calculations, valuable information on the $^{11}$Be structure and its $B(E1$) distribution to the continuum are obtained. Angular distributions of the elastic, inelastic, and breakup cross sections of the halo nucleus Be11 on $^{197}Au$ were measured at energies below $(E_{lab}=31.9  MeV)$ and around (39.6 MeV) the Coulomb barrier. These three channels were unambiguously separated for the first time for reactions of $^{11}Be$ on a high-Z target at low energies. [...]

Probing proton halo effects in the $^8$B+$^{64}$Zn collision around the Coulomb barrier / Spartà, R (Catania U. ; INFN, Catania) ; Di Pietro, A (INFN, Catania) ; Figuera, P (INFN, Catania) ; Tengblad, O (CSIC, Madrid) ; Moro, A M (Seville U.) ; Martel, I (Huelva U.) ; Fernández-García, J P (Seville U.) ; Lei, Jin (INFN, Pisa) ; Acosta, L (Mexico U. ; INFN, Catania) ; Borge, M J (CSIC, Madrid) et al.
Proton halo effects in the 8B+64Zn reaction at an energy around 1.5 times the Coulomb barrier have been studied at HIE-ISOLDE CERN using, for the first time, the only existing postaccelerated 8B beam. This, together with the use of a high granularity and large solid angle detection system, allowed for a careful mapping of the elastic angular distribution, especially in the Coulomb-nuclear interference region. In this contribution, results concerning different reaction channels for the collisions induced by the three Be isotopes, Be-9,Be-10,Be-11, on a Zn-64 target at energies around the Coulomb barrier will be presented. The experiments with the radioactive Be-10,Be-11 beams were performed at REX-ISOLDE (CERN) whereas the experiment with the stable weakly bound Be-9 beam was performed at LNS Catania. [...]

The neutron rich carbon isotope $^{15}$C is the only known case of an almost "pure" 2s$_{1/2}$ single-neutron halo ground state configuration. At collision energies around the Coulomb barrier the reaction dynamics is expected to be dominated by single neutron transfer and breakup [...]

One- and two- neutron halo at the dripline. From $^{11}$Be to $^{11}$Li and back: $^{10}$Li and parity inversion / Broglia, R.A. (Milan U. ; Copenhagen U.) ; Barranco, F. (Seville U.) ; Potel, G. (Michigan State U.) ; Vigezzi, E. (INFN, Milan)
The nuclei $^{11}$Be and $^{11}$Li provide paradigmatic examples of one-and two- neutron halo systems. Because the reaction $^{1}$H($^{11}$Li,$^{9}$Li)$^{3}$H is dominated by successive transfer, one can use the quantitative picture emerging from a nu- clear field theory description of the structure and reaction mechanism of the above Cooper pair transfer process and of the $^{2}$H($^{10}$Be,$^{11}$Be)$^{1}$H and $^{1}$H($^{11}$Be,$^{10}$Be)$^{2}$H reactions, to shed light on the structure of $^{10}$Li.
