Energy scale and resolution for anti-$k_t$ jets with radius parameters $R=0.2$ and 0.6 measured in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
Jets with different radius parameters $R$ are an important tool to probe quantum chromodynamics processes at different angular scales. [...]

Determination of the strong coupling and its running from measurements of inclusive jet production
The value of the strong coupling $ \alpha_\mathrm{S} $ is determined in a comprehensive analysis at next-to-next-to-leading order accuracy in quantum chromodynamics. [...]

New measurements of transverse spin asymmetries at COMPASS / Martin, Anna (Trieste U.) /COMPASS Collaboration
The recent developments in the description of the 3D structure of the nucleon have highlighted the relevance of SIDIS measurements with transversely polarized nucleons. The phenomenological analyses have also highlighted how the scarcity of SIDIS data collected with neutron or deuterium targets limits the knowledge of the parton distribution functions, in particular for the d quark. In the year 2022, the COMPASS experiment at CERN took data using a transversely polarised deuteron target and a 160 GeV muon beam at CERN, to balance the existing proton target data.Detailed studies had shown how those data would lead to significant progress in the knowledge of the transversity distributions.First preliminary results for the Collins and Sivers asymmetries from part of the 2022 data have already been produced, they are in line with expectations and are shown here for the first time..

Vector meson polarization measurements in pp and Pb--Pb collisions with ALICE at the LHC / Bai, Xiaozhi (USTC, Hefei) /ALICE Collaboration
Polarization measurements are important for understanding the vector mesons production mechanisms in proton proton pp and heavy-ion collisions. Quarkonium measurements in pp collision are crucial to constrain both perturbative and non-perturbative aspects of QCD calculations. [...]

Target Offline Polarization COMPASS 2022 / Reicherz, Gerhard (Ruhr U., Bochum) ; Doshita, Norihito (Yamagata U.) ; Takanashi, Yuya (Yamagata U.) ; Takahiro, Iwata (Yamagata U.) /COMPASS Polarized Target Group Collaboration
The COMPASS experiment at CERN used a transversely solid polarized deuteron target with a muon beam to measure the TMD PDFs in SIDIS in 2022.The target system consists of a 50 mK dilution refrigerator, a 2.5 T solenoid magnet, and three sets of 70 GHz microwave systems. Solid $^6$LiD beads of the target material were contained in a3-target-cell of 30-60-30 cm long with 3 cm in diameter. [...]

Measurement of the W boson decay branching fraction ratio $ \mathcal{B}(\mathrm{ W \to c q })/\mathcal{B}(\mathrm{{W}\to q \bar{q}{}^{'}}) $ in proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{s} = $ 13 TeV
The most precise measurement to date of the W boson hadronic decay branching fraction ratio $ R_\mathrm{c}^{\mathrm{W}}=\mathcal{B}(\mathrm{ W \to c q })/\mathcal{B}(\mathrm{{W}\to q \bar{q}{}^{'}}) $ is presented. [...]

We discuss ways to discriminate at hadron colliders between a quasi-bound toponium state and a pseudoscalar Higgs boson A, as predicted in many extensions of the Standard Model. [...]
