This template is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code en to include articles in Category:Articles containing Eng-gí-language text, if the category was created (using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Eng-gí |en}}). For example: {{Lang |en |some text in Eng-gí}}, which wraps the text with <span lang="en">. Also available is {{Lang-en |some text in Eng-gí}} which displays as Eng-gí: some text in Eng-gí.
It is used by {{en icon}} and {{Link language|en}} to display the language of an external link. These templates could add articles to Category:Articles with Eng-gí-language external links, if the category was created (using {{Non-English-language external links category |code=en |name=Eng-gí}}).
