I am currently a Business Development Manager at Adapt IT Education. I am responsible for generating revenue from new & existing customers, generate business growth via new projects or system (product) initiatives or service initiatives, customer satisfaction and retention within this business unit (within the guidelines set by the corporate strategy).

My experience is primarily in the area of Tertiary Education Sector, gained in university business process analysis, business and systems project implementation, operational improvements and team leadership.

Prior to joining Adapt IT, I was employed at the Durban University of Technology for 18 years. During these years, I was employed in various job profiles and also in various Departments within the University.

I hold a National Diploma in Computer Data Processing (DUT), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) Office Management and Technology (DUT) and a Masters Degree in Business Leadership (UNISA).

I also received an award from DUT for Person of Year in 2009.

I have industry expertise in the following:

DUT – Project Leader ITS Integrator Applications approx. 10 years
Over 18 Years’ experience in Higher Education.
Project Manager: DUT, UKZN (approx. 50000 students and 6000 users) upgrade projects to INT3.
Project Manager: DUT INT4 Upgrade
Service Manager: DUT, UKZN, MUT, UNIZULU

    As part of the support, my tasks here included me assisting the user’s in Reconciliation problems i.e. bank reconciliation, Trial Balance not balancing, control accounts not balancing. Analysing business processes and making recommendations where necessary
