I love tech. Since the humble age of six years old when I first encountered MS-DOS, QBasic, and the CLI (thanks Dad).

However - I fell in love with games. Man, I play a lot of PC games. I’m sure those old text-based adventure games are responsible for making me fluent in English even though it’s my second language. Thanks Space Quest!

I wanted to know more, so I studied for two years to become an Information Technology Network Integration Specialist (ITNIS) which included the then popular MCITP certification from Microsoft.

I have a passion for this stuff. Any technological challenge, I will spend hours to find the solution because I find it fun, and I get a sense of fulfillment when I finally click with the solution and learn something new. I set up enterprise networks at home just for fun.

I’m not a programmer or a developer. I didn’t get a master's in computer science. But I understand tech. I understand what’s possible and how to get results.

With the advent of cloud computing, I once again embarked on obtaining my Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.

Today, I have worked with and have had exposure to many different IT systems and environments, and I feel like I’m only getting started.

    Planned and managed a coordinated and systematical roll-out of Office 365 over 140 staff members in both South Africa and San-Francisco offices.

    Performed all prerequisites and sanity checks on Active Directory in preparation of a full scale mailbox migration to Exchange Online from an on premises Mail Exchange.

    Configured the Hybrid Exchange Online environment and successfully migrated 140 mailboxes to the cloud.
