US makes ruling for AD & CVD sunset review on large diameter welded pipes

16 Apr 2025 15:51 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
On April 9, 2025, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) voted and made its final determination that withdrawing the existing anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on large diameter welded pipes from Canada, China, Greece, India, South Korea, and Turkey would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US industry within a reasonably foreseeable time.

Due to the USITC’s affirmative rulings, the existing AD and CVD orders on these subject products will continue to be effective.

According to the official notice, the USITC affirmed AD duties on large diameter welded carbon and alloy steel line pipes from Canada, China, Greece, India, South Korea, and Turkey, and CVD duties on such products from India and South Korea. It also affirmed AD duties on large diameter welded carbon and alloy steel structural pipes from Canada, China, South Korea, and Turkey, and CVD duties from China, South Korea, and Turkey.
