JFE Steel announced on March 25 that its JFE Bars & Shapes will cooperate with Yamato Kogyo Group to integrate its H-beam business with the strengths of each company, starting in April this year.

In response to the decline in domestic demand, particularly in the construction and civil engineering fields, and the increase in demand for eco-products and green products, the two parties will work together to enhance competitiveness, respond quickly to customer needs, and build an optimal production system.

The first step will be to include Yamada Steel as JFE Steel's selected supplier of H-beam products from April, in order to utilize each other's strengths and improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
