WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 At the initiative of Edita Grabar, Director of the Transcarpathian Education and Research Centre, the WUNU International Relations Office and the Student Support Centre, students of the West Ukrainian National University took part in a two-week student exchange in the Netherlands, in the village of Bant, as part of the Erasmus+ informal education programme.

 On 5 March 2025, Professor Krzysztof J. Filipiak gave a scientific and analytical lecture on ‘Palenie? Wapowanie? Podgrzewanie? Żucie? Jakie twarze ma dzisiaj ‘palenie papierosów’?’

 Zoriana Krupnyk, a certified trainer and associate professor of psychology and social work at the West Ukrainian National University, conducted an important training on first psychological aid for the participants of the TURBO project “The Universities' Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises.”

 On February 28 - March 3, within the framework of WUNU's cooperation agreements with the Jagiellonian and Osnabrück Universities, a delegation of foreign scholars, including Fryderyk Zoll, prof, Doctor Honoris Causa, Professor at the Jagiellonian and Osnabrück Universities, member of the Supervisory Board of the West Ukrainian National University, and Viktor Antoliak, doctoral student at the Department of Criminal Law at the Jagiellonian University, attorney at law.

 Within the framework of the international Ukrainian-Polish student exchange programme, students from various faculties and institutes of WUNU were selected for semester studies at the University of Economics and Business in Poznan and the University of Lodz for the summer semester of 2025 (Republic of Poland).

 Recently, West Ukrainian National University signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Salamanca, one of the oldest universities in Europe.

 The participants of the TURBO project ‘The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises’ had the opportunity to learn about the current programmes of the Ternopil Regional Employment Centre.
