C# program to count the number of words in a string

Let us first declare the string −

string str = "Hello World!";

Now loop through the complete string and find the whitespace or tab or newline character −

while (a <= str.Length - 1) {
   if(str[a]==' ' || str[a]=='\n' || str[a]=='\t') {
      myWord++;
   }
   a++;
}
