How many accounts do you have across all of the websites on the internet? I'm talking over the course of all the years since you first discovered the internet. Forums, social networks, services, etc.
For me, hundreds would be an underestimate. I can think of dozens of accounts that I'm actively using right now. It scares me to think of how many inactive accounts I have out there that are viewable to the public eye and can be used against me.
Indeed, someone can pull information from one of your public accounts in order to dox you and figure out who you are in real life. And even if your accounts are private, they can still be hacked and mined for data.
