Hello fellow Wikidata editors, I'm Minorax. I'd like to ask for sysop permission to help to fight against LTAs, spammers, vandalism. Additionally, I will also like to help out with the backlog at RFD and chip in at AN for block requests as well. I'm a global sysop and rollbacker with sysop rights on several wikis. I have read and understood relevant policies. Thanks for your time! --Minorax (talk) 11:23, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

- Oppose item creation seems to be limited to items for templates and modules. Can't find many statement additions. Seems to have a collection of hats across WMFs sites. --- Jura 20:02, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- I think the edits made in answer to the discussion below somehow illustrate my point. --- Jura 09:02, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- Support having multiple hats is not an issue, provides the candidate makes good use of whatever they already hold. Minorax is active in admin areas, and I see no problem with giving them this right. Best, --Martin Urbanec (talk) 21:03, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- Support Good answers below and good work in admin areas. whym (talk) 07:12, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]- @Minorax: I'm with Jura in that administrators need to know what kind of structural data we are (aspiring to be) creating and that whether you do or not seems a bit unclear from your contributions. Would you mind demonstrating your understanding by adding new statements to, changing existing statements of, or at least describing a general approach on how to improve John (Q12730777) and/or Allegationes (Q42648477)? If the subject areas is an issue, please feel free to provide other diffs that you think demonstrate your understanding. Thank you! whym (talk) 12:11, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- @Whym: Briefly expanded John (Q12730777) from what I can find online. As for Allegationes (Q42648477), it seems to be the same as Allegationes (Q42682144). --Minorax (talk) 15:23, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
