Motivation
[edit]The yield rate is a closely watched metric in higher education admissions. It's included in the admissions template on English Wikipedia but is not represented by any Wikidata property, so it'd be nice to create one. {{u|Sdkb}} talk 03:44, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
Discussion
[edit]- Support didn't know about it, but seems like a great addition. Germartin1 (talk) 20:33, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
- Comment can you try to find a more explicit label. "Yield" can refer to a lot of things and property labels should be unique. --- Jura 18:46, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
- @Jura1 Maybe "admission yield rate"? {{u|Sdkb}} talk 21:06, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
- I'm not really sure about the ideal label, but it's better as it does avoid confusion with other "yield". --- Jura 22:23, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
- I agree, as I thought you mean yield of a substance in chemistry. Matthias M. (talk) 12:53, 8 January 2022 (UTC)

- Support as "admission yield rate" ArthurPSmith (talk) 19:02, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
- Note that "acceptance rate" is an English alias for "admission rate"; while that would be a reasonable alternative label here also it's clearly confusing about who is doing the accepting. ArthurPSmith (talk) 19:03, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
