Motivation
[edit]There are numerous notable videos like Charlie Bit My Finger (Q1066839) that have changed their privacy setting at a point in time for reasons such as copyright or controversies. Lectrician1 (talk) 02:09, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
Discussion
[edit]- Comment This is not a proper motivation since the same can be said for every imaginable new property proposal. 06:21, 15 February 2022 (UTC) – The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ainali (talk • contribs).
- @Ainali I have changed the motivation and added another example Lectrician1 (talk) 15:15, 15 February 2022 (UTC)
- Could this be made more generic to work for privacy on other platforms? BrokenSegue (talk) 03:27, 16 February 2022 (UTC)
- @BrokenSegue sure. Would "accessibility of software" work? I was thinking we could even make a superproperty to that called "accessibility" too. We could then use that to distinguish that some information was classified (Q59608653) at a point in time. Lectrician1 (talk) 17:04, 16 February 2022 (UTC)
- maybe "content accessibility" or "content permissions"? unsure. i do like the idea of expanding to classified (Q59608653). not sure what the right term is though. BrokenSegue (talk) 17:16, 16 February 2022 (UTC)
- @BrokenSegue Well accessibility can occur outside of content. For example, the accessibility of a building/property.
- We could also propose a "accessible by" property to put on levels of accessibility items that will indicate who exactly can access something that has such accessibility. Lectrician1 (talk) 19:11, 16 February 2022 (UTC)

- Support if made more generic for use on all videos and social profiles. AntisocialRyan (Talk) 22:57, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
- Strong support if made more generic as AntisocialRyan said. -- BeLucky (talk) 15:13, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose online access status (P6954) can be use for that. --Tinker Bell ★ ♥ 03:12, 30 April 2022 (UTC)
- Ooh I didn't know about this, should closed user group (Q66317415) be used for private posts/profiles? AntisocialRyan (Talk) 03:39, 30 April 2022 (UTC)
- Looks like @Tinker Bell is right here. I myself used the online access status (P6954) once in a while but totally forgot about it. @Lectrician1 see if you can withdraw it as such generic property already exist. BeLucky (talk) 05:18, 30 April 2022 (UTC)
