Motivation

DataTrek is a WikiBase-based MediaWiki instance dedicated to Star Trek data. It is companion site to wikitrek.org, but it can eventually be used as a source of open data for Star Trek in general, even for other sites.
This WikiBase includes additional information on Star Trek items that are not included in Wikidata, but that might still be interesting to the reader.

- Eventually, yes, but I would say not immediately. While all the WikiTrek pages are sitelinked to their respective item in DataTrek, complete data is present only for the newly-created pages.
