Motivation
[edit]The Biblioteca Digital Curt Nimuendajú (Biblioteca Digital Curt Nimuendajú (Q105740530)) (Brazilian Portuguese for Curt Nimuendajú Digital Library, but most Anglophone researchers still refer to it by its Portuguese name) is currently the largest online repository of materials relating to indigenous South American linguistics, anthropology, and other social sciences. It is comparable to various identification numbers for academics, such as the Lattes Platform number (P1007) and P7859 (P7859). All major researchers working in South American linguistics currently have a Biblioteca Digital Curt Nimuendajú researcher ID. — Sagotreespirit (talk) 23:03, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
