Long Jump women in Olympics 2012
[edit]Hello Gereon K.. I reverted your edit on Margrethe Renstrøm (Q270458) here and added a source. I hope we can agree on this participation. Regards Migrant (talk) 22:24, 4 September 2016 (UTC)
- Hello Migrant. I understand your point of view. We just have different definitions of attendance. I only use a category of attendance when an athlete is actually taking part and starts. Just a nomination does not mean that she started in the Olympics. But I can understand the opinion that a nomination is enough. Best regards, --Gereon K. (talk) 06:09, 5 September 2016 (UTC)
Property proposal
[edit]Hi Gereon K.
As you added some of the data, maybe you want to comment on Wikidata:Property_proposal/subscribers. --- Jura 17:18, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
Items with multiple Twitter usernames
[edit]Good afternoon, I see you are updating X username (P2002). An item may have more than one Twitter username, including a username that changed. If a username changed, you shouldn't delete or change the old one, you should add a qualifier of end time (P582) or other qualifier properties to distinguish them. Many politicians will have two accounts, one for their elected office and one for their personal capacity/campaign. Please do not delete one in favor of the other. Retain both with a qualifier to distinguish them. William Graham (talk) 20:11, 4 December 2019 (UTC)
- Hello and good evening, William. You are right. I did not check whether her private account still existed. I apologize for my mistake. The entry is corrected now. --Gereon K. (talk) 20:25, 4 December 2019 (UTC)
notafish
[edit]Hallo Gereon,
Call for participation in a task-based online experiment
[edit]Dear Gereon_k,
I hope you are doing well,
I am Kholoud, a researcher at King's College London, and I am working on a project as part of my PhD research, in which I have developed a personalised recommender model that suggests Wikidata items for the editors based on their past edits. I am inviting you to a task-based study that will ask you to provide your judgments about the relevance of the items suggested by our model based on your previous edits. Participation is completely voluntary, and your cooperation will enable us to evaluate the accuracy of the recommender system in suggesting relevant items to you. We will analyse the results anonymised, and they will be published to a research venue.
The study should take no more than 15 minutes.
If you agree to participate in this study, please either contact me at kholoud.alghamdi@kcl.ac.uk or use this form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSees9WzFXR0Vl3mHLkZCaByeFHRrBy51kBca53euq9nt3XWog/viewform?usp=sf_link
Then, I will contact you with the link to start the study.
For more information about the study, please read this post: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/User:Kholoudsaa In case you have further questions or require more information, don't hesitate to contact me through my mentioned email.
Thank you for considering taking part in this research.
