After Commencement
Important Reminders
-
Update your mailing address
Your diploma will be sent approximately 5-7 weeks after commencement to the mailing address on-file with UNF, with the exact date posted on the UNF Academic Calendar. Be sure to confirm that UNF has the correct address on-file for you.
Follow these steps to view and update your address:
- Log into your myWings portal.
- Choose "Student" on side menu
- Select "Student Resources", and then "Banner Self-Service".
- Click on "Personal Information".
- Choose "Graduation Application".
- Click on "Update Address(es) and Phone(s)".
-
Check myWings for holds
Having holds on your account can prevent you from receiving your diploma and/or official transcripts. Some holds may not be placed immediately, so check your myWings often. Take immediate steps to clear any holds you may see.
-
Ordering official transcripts
Degrees are posted to official transcripts after final graduation certification approximately 5-7 weeks after commencement. Once final graduation certification is complete, you will receive an email congratulating you on earning your degree from the University of North Florida. At that time, your degree will be reflected on your official UNF transcript. When ordering your official transcript, select the option to request that the processing of your order be held until after degrees post, rather than immediately. Please visit the Transcript Requests webpage for more information on how to order official transcripts.
Follow these steps to order an official transcript:
- Log into your myWings portal.
- Choose "Student" on side menu.
- Select "Records".
- Click on "Order Official Transcript".
