uhh guess im back? kinda? just found this blog wasnt shadow banned after 3 years??? wut???
It was Azara's first day in the Avengers tower. She wasn't exactly thrilled but her father, Stephen Dtrange was too busy with work and his own magic to train her. So the tower was rhe best place for ger.
She sighed as she went inside, her father already gone. Instead Wong was there to make sure she arrived safely.
"I hate this..." she mumblee, gathering her things. "I want Dad to teach me..."
Wong help her with her bags. "I know Azara but this is what's best. I'd teach you but your father needs me."
"But he doesn't need me..." she murmured. "He was always too busy with svaing the world or his work..."
Wong put a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "He loves you, Azara. Don't forget that."
Az hugged him and he hugged her back. "He has big responsbilities, you know that."
"I know...I just miss him..."
Wong nodded. "It's alright. Cmon lets go inside."
He helped you inside with ability of his magic, making it easier.
"Welcome home." Wong said.
You rolles your eyes. "Yeah yeah."
She looked around. The tower was kinda cool. And she heard footsteps approaching. She blushes when the fiurr came into view.
It was Captain America.
Steve was puttering about. With Tony away with their son Peter, he was practically home alone. He passed through the foyer barefoot, shirtless, in his cutoff lounge pants hanging low on his hips. He sipped coffee. "Oh. Hello. Uhhh... Did Tony know you were coming?" He held out a hand to shake. His ex-husband and he were still extremely close friends, but that didn't mean he got every memo.
Darcy looked her over, genuinely considering the offer. She let out a breath she didn't realize she'd been holding. "Sure, why not?"
Az smiled. "Laos for the record...I'm not flirting with Steve or anything...I know you're with him. I'm just...constantly learning the dos and donts of being social." she chuckled. "I'm kind of a social misfit, if you will. I was on my own alot or with my dad or Wong...so I'm still figuring this all out. And I have no clue what to do for a sleep over."
*there was a pint of macoroni ice cream setting on scotts counter in his kitchen, Azara's giggling can be heard from his kitchen*
*walks in the kitchen and walks past the pint*
*quickly walks back and stares at it before deflating a bit*
*to the pint* Okay so youโre never going away are you?
*hears the giggling* Azaraaaaaaaa!
Az giggled more and popped out of her portal where she was hiding and hugged scott. "Surprise! I brought you your favorite!" she teased, knowing damn well he hated it.
โYouโre lucky weโre friends,โ Scott answered with an eye roll as he hugged her back. โMy favorite, my assโฆโ
Az giggled again, giving him a good squeeze before pulling away. "I missed you, buddy." she admitted. "I been so busy working on my magic. And time flies so wasily when I hyper focus on my training." She shrugged. "But I have nearly complete control over my portals!" She showed him, opening and closing them with her hands.
โHey! Look at you! Thatโs pretty awesome! Iโm proud of you.โ
Az giggled and hugged him. "I'm sorry for being away for so long but I mastered my magic so now I'll be here all the time." she smiled. "Who knows maybe we could go on a mission together." You nudged him.
Azara was spending her day out running errands in good ol New York. She went to a few shops and found a second band book store that also had coffee. Of course she had to get both. She was skimming through the books and pulled one out, accidentally bumping into someone behind her. "Oh sorry. You okay?" She turned around to see a cute blonde girl.- @askazara
Gwen looked up when she felt someone bump into her, and smiled a little. "I'm okay. I've had a lot worse happen to me before," she assured her.
"Sorry, I have like zero spacial awareness, especially when it comes to books." Azara laughed. "I'm Azara by the way." She glanced at the girl's coffee, seeing how low it was. "You uh want another coffee?"

"I don't think Darcy would like that very much." He swam to the side of the pool to haul himself out to jump off the diving board
"Oh, right." Az said. She held onto Peter as Steve jumped. "I wouldn't mind swimming some more. You mond if yoir dad takes you, Pete hm?" She bounced Peter on the water a little, making him giggle. "I can't hold you all day even though you're really cute." she chuckled.
"I'll take him," Darcy smiled and scooped up the child. Peter snuggled into her happily. Steve surfaced and smiled politely. "Did you want anything? Soda?" He sat at the side of the pool.
"Thanks, Darcy, my arms needed a break." Az chuckled as she waded in the water. "Oh sure, Steve, uh cherry cola if you have it? It's my favorite." she giggled. She looked around at everyone, smiling a bit. "Feels nice being here with you all. I'm usually by myself. Or with Wong."
Steve nodded. "My usual," Darcy grinned as she showed Peter how to play with pool noodles. Tony came to supervise and Darcy followed Steve to the soda fridge. She bit her lip and looked up at him. "New girl is trying something."
"Darce, breathe, she's just new and lonely. Relax. I'm with you, babe." He kissed her forehead and gave her a grape soda.
Az stayed in the water. She still felt a but awkward with everyone, not sure how to interact or who to interact with for that matter besides Steve. She used a pool noodle to float on when Nat swam over to hee. "Hey you're Azara right? I'm Natasha."
Az blinked, taken back but nodded, smiling some. "That's me. Hi. Nice to know heroes can catch a break. Can't be fighting crime all the time."
Nat chuckled. "Got that right. If you want maybe we can have a sleep over tonight? Girls only? Darcy can come too."
Az blushed more. "Sleep over? I never had one before."
"Perfect! It starts at 8 in my room."
Steve doted on Darcy a little more before going back into the pool. Darcy sat on the side with her soda and watched anxiously. She didn't usually feel insecure, and she didn't like the feeling.
Az was starting to get a sense that Darcy didn't like her much which she found confusing. She didn't know why. Maybe she spent too much time with Steve? But Az was an introvert, socializing wasn't her strong suit. She decided to try and break the ice.
"Hey, Nat is having girls night tonight, you wanna come?" Az asked her, her forearms resting on edge of the pool near Darcy. "Guess she wants me to make some friends or something." she chuckled. "Kind of an introvert around people..."

Desmond appeared in a flash of light his wings flapping awkwardly slowing his fall enough it didn't hurt to much when he hit the ground. He picked himself up dusting himself off before looking around and swallowing seeing everyone staring at him as he tucked his wings away.
"Yeah... I mean dare devil is bad ass. A blind lawyer who uses basically echolocation to fight, reading awesome." He says laughing
"Yeah I can see strange being like that." He says nodding as he works on eating the entire pizza himself. "Man this is place is awesome." He says "my town only had a little ceasers and this local owned spot. The pizza at the local spot was pretty good better than frozen for sure but nothing like this."
Peter chuckled. "It's obvious New York has the best pizza. No doubt about it."
"Dont get me started on that frozen pizza nonsense." he said. "Its an insult to the craft of making pizza."
"I'll be okay, Pietro, thanks to you." Az reassured with a smile.
Jarvis and Tomy quickly finished her up, patching the wound. "Shes's all done." Tony beamed. "But Az, no missions for a while okay? Take it easy for a few days." Tony gently squeezed her shoulder.
Az nodded. "Whatever you say doc." She looked over at Pietro. "Mind helping me to my room?"

He had been worried about what would have happened had he not been able to get their in time.โ Oh uhh sure.โ he went to go and help her again and went to get her to her room.

He helped her to his room and laid her on the bed. "I'm okay just a little sore..." she mumbled, sighing. "But Tony still wants me on bed rest for a day or two...but I'm gonna get bored so quick." she chuckled.

Azara was in her father, Doctor Strange's study for practice as usual. She struggled to focus on her magic but his study seemed to help limit her distractions.
"C'mon...just once...portal where I want to go..." she murmured to herself. She couldn't seem to take herself where she wanted to so easily like her father could. It bothered her to no end.
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, exhaling, picturing where she wanted to go. Her hands traced a circle in the air creating a portal, the magical embers sparkling around her. She stepped inside and opened her eyes.
"God damn it." Az groaned, realizing she messed up. Again.
The portal closed behind her and she cursed. She couldn't keep them open for very long either. "Oh no..." She scanned her new surroundings, realizing where she ended up.
It was Asgard.
She wasn't sure how she ended up here. But she recognized it from the few times she visited with her father for magic related purposes when she was little. At least she ended up somewhere she was vaguely familiar with and had people she knew. Hopefully Thor or Loki were around and could help her.
"Why am I so bad at this..." She lowered her head, groaning.
Thor nods, he could understand needing time to recharge her powers. He looks at Loki skeptically, "Would you be able to get her home? Without causing any problems?" he asks quietly.
Loki rolls his eyes, "A portal to Midgard? Please, that's hardly a difficult task," he mutters, "Why not have Heimdall send her back?"
Thor shakes his head, "Then Odin would know and he would take issue with a mortal popping up here unannounced without warning," he points out, and Loki nods in agreement, turning to Azara again.
"Where were you when you opened the portal? Where in Midgard?"
Az looked at them both as they talked. "I'm not a bsd person or anything," she said quietly, hearing Thor mention Odin. "Just got here by accident."
"Oh I was in the sactum in New York. I'm usually there or in the avengers tower." she said.
Thor looks startled and even Loki has to interject, โno one thinks youโre a bad person. Our father just..does not like mortals,โ he explains and Thor nods, โyes, he does not believe Asgard is a place for mortals and if he knew you could bypass Heimdall and get here using portals of your own, he wouldnโt be pleased.โ
Loki thinks for a moment, โavengers Tower, is that nowhere near that Starkโs Tower where I had opened the portal during the Battle of New York?โ
"It's the same building actually. Tony fixed it up after it was damaged from the battle with Ultron." Az explained. "So now it's like the Avengers head quarters. I pretty much live there."

Loki had been reading in his motherโs gardens, trying to pass the time because honestly it was so frustratingly boring being stuck here after everything. He had been pardoned for his role in the New York invasion but he still wasnโt welcome to travel as much as he had before.
His eyes widened when a portal suddenly appeared and he sits up straight, snapping his book shut. He stands when someone comes walking through it and she looked vague familiar but he canโt remember where heโd seen her before. He glances around, there werenโt any guards around or else they would have come over to apprehend her, so he walks over just as she was groaning something to herself
โWho are you?โ he asks, looking at the area where the portal had been but it had closed just as suddenly as it appeared.
Az was startled to see Loki. Thank god a familiar face. "Loki...doubt you remember me um..I'm Azara Strange...we met a few times as kids here...but uh nevrmind that." she chuckled awkwardly. "I um...had a misshap with my magic and portaled here by accident...was hoping you could help me get back to um New York?"
She rambled when she was nervous. She arrived at the tower after the Loki ordeal so she never met him then but she vaguely remembered him the times she visited here when she was younger. He was rather handsome now.
โStrange? Oh you must be Steven Strangeโs child, you wereโฆmuch younger when you were here last,โ he realizes as he studies her and listens to her nervous rambling.
He crosses his arms as she asks for help getting back to New York, โWeโre going to have to talk to Thor and the All-father, it would not be taken kindly if I just disappeared back to Midgard without warning. Iโm sure youโre aware of what happened the last time I was there,โ he says quietly, turning to lead back into the palace, expecting her to follow.
He waves a hand and the book he held disappeared, going back to his rooms so he could read it later. He leads down to the training field where he figures Thor and the other warriors are, glancing to her as they walk, โSo you have magic, the same as your father?โ
Az chuckled, glad that he remembered. "Yeah it has been a long time." She did a small jog to catch up to him. She nodded. "They told me what happened. I didn't really believe them...but my dad showed me what happened...you okay?" She wasn't afraid of Loki.
"Yeah pretty much but I'm nowhere near his level...I really struggle concentrating...so my magic can be all over the place...I don't know what I'm doing wrong..."
Loki looks at her with a mildly bemused expression, โam I okay? That is what you choose to ask? Yes Iโm fine, I certainly do not wish to discuss it with a mortal I donโt know,โ he mutters, having no wish to get into the topic of his time as a captive.
He listens to her explanation about his magic and nods in agreement, โfocus and mental fortitude are a key to many branches of magic, especially the kind your father seems to exhibit. It may not be that youโre doing anything wrong but more that you need to work on honing those skillsโ
"Oh, right." Az chuckled, feeling dumb. "Yeah...that's what I need help on," she sighed. "Just the way Dad is teaching me...I don't get it..." She didn't like talking about her father this way but it was true. "Beginning to feel like I need a new teacher..."
Loki canโt help but nod in agreement with her, โsome people are not the best teachers even if they are experts in their field. My mother was an excellent teacher and she was the reason I found I had such a great skill with magic, if she hadnโt done so well teaching me I doubt I would have excelled the way I did,โ he reasons.
They arrive at the training field where Thor is just finishing a sparring session with some warriors. Loki waves a hand toward the blonde, who comes over immediately and greets them
โBrother, itโs not often we see you here at the training grounds,โ he says with a smile, even as Loki rolls his eyes. Thor looks at the newcomer with mild confusion but Loki interrupts him before he can ask
โYes well we both know I prefer my books even as bored as I am. But Iโm here because of her, this is Azara Strange, she needs help getting back to Midgard,โ he explains quietly.
Azara nodded. "I portaled here by acccident when practicing my magic..." she chuckled, shrugging, rubbing the back of her neck. She felt so embarrassed. "I never portaled this far from home before...I have no idea what made this time any different..." she trailed off, thinking out lout like she does.
"Nonsense, you should have seen the mistakes Loki would make when he was learning," Thor says, shooting Loki a grin but the dark-haired god looked far from amused "I never took myself off to Midgard on accident," he counters, glaring at Thor who only shakes his head with a laugh.
Loki looks to Azara when she mentions not knowing what was different, "It doesn't have to be that anything was different really, I'm not sure how your magic works but if you're opening portals there's really no limit to where they can take you," he explains absently before Thor interrupts, "Can you not open a portal back yourself?"
"I usually can but it's hard sometimes. Depending on where I end up, it doesn't always work for a while...like I need to recharge, if that makes any sense? I wasn't with my dad or else he takes us back." She chuckled, feeling dumb. "I'm still learning..." she shrugged. Azara fiddled with her fingerd nervously, hoping she didn't sound like a lunatic.

Steve got to work training as Peter played. He paused when Darcy texted him to make plans. He grinned. A pool party on the roof with everyone invited sounded perfect. He quickly sent the message to Azara and went to change into swim trunks before helping Peter.
Darcy waited on the roof with a fruity drink, chatting with Natasha, in a sexy black bikini. She grinned when she saw Steve come up. He greeted her with a soft kiss and went to play with Peter.
Az smiled a bit seeing a text from Steve. Something about a pool party. Luckily she packed one in the move and slipped in on: a purple one piece, exposing her back. She grabbed some water and a towel with her and headed up to the roof. As much as she yearned company she was still shy. She exhaled before exiting the elevator, seeing the other avengers.
She smiled bigger this time seeing Steve with a little boy whi must be Peter. She approached him. "Hey Steve, thanks for rhe invite. And this must be Peter hm? He's adorable."
"thanks, yeah, this is my pride and joy." He scooped the boy up and jumped in the pool with him, making the boy shriek with laughter.
Az giggled seeing them being cute together. She sat her things down by a chair and jumped in after them. "Thanks for the invite, Steve." she said when she broke the water, chuckling. "Can't remember the last time I went swimming."
He grinned. "Yeah it's a good excuse to meet everyone. Food will be up shortly." He bounced Peter in the water playfully.
Az laughed seeing them play together. Peter reached oht his arms and made grabby hands to her. Her eyebrows went up in surprise. "I think he wants me to hold him?" She held out her hands and gently took her in her arms. "Well hi there cutie. I'm Azara. Nice to meet you, Peter." She giggles as Peter played with her curls.
Steve smiled and playfully splashed them before Darcy whacked him with a noodle.
Az laughed. "She got you!" She held onto Peter while giggling at Darcy whacking Steve with the pool noodle. "Too bad you don't have your shield now huh?" she teased.
Steve cackled and scooped Darcy up in his arms. He climbed out of the pool still holding her and ran to the diving board. "STEVEN GRANT ROGERS YOU BETTER NOT!" she shrieked as he jumped off with her.
Steve giggled as they surfaced and he kissed her cheek before dropping her on a float and swimming over to Azara and Peter. "How's it going over here?" He grinned, not even slightly out of breath.
Azara laughed seeing how goofy Steve was. She liked seeing this side of him. All she knew was about him being Captain America. Now she got to see a whole new side of him. "Great actually. He seems to really like me." she giggled. "He's so cute."
Steve smiled warmly. "Do you want helicopter rides?" He grinned at Peter. He felt Tony watching him and blushed.
Az smiled and looked at Peter. "That sounds like fun hm?" She tried to give Peter to Steve but he fussed. She laughed taking him back. "Sorry guess he wants me to hold him." she chuckled. "Maybe lift us both?" she suggested.
