There are two Wolfs inside you, and they’re both trying to hide a body.

Wolfs — Apple’s upcoming comedy about a pair of fixers forced to become partners — actually sounds like a pretty solid movie. And its latest trailer almost makes it easy to understand why a sequel has already been greenlit ahead of Wolfs’ theatrical release on September 20th and Apple TV Plus streaming debut on September 27th.

Apple MacBook Pro 16 M3 Max review

It’s undoubtedly fast, powerful, and earns the Pro moniker. It’ll also cost you a pretty penny.

Apple’s iOS 18 app theming just got a nice upgrade.

With iOS 18 developer beta 6 and public beta 4, the app color tints you select will now stay linked with the wallpaper you pair them with, as shown by betaprofiles.

I love this — even though I keep my iPhone pretty gray most of the time, this feature means it’s easier to switch over to something with a different pop of color.

A bigger iMac is apparently still a possibility.

Last we heard, Apple doesn’t plan to make a 27-inch iMac equipped with its custom silicon chips. But a larger version of its slender all-in-one is still “something Apple is exploring,” wrote Mark Gurman in his Power On newsletter for Bloomberg today.

He adds that it’s not clear whether that will happen in time for the M4 chip generation or later, though.

Say, that looks familiar.

Pixar posted a short Toy Story 5 tease during D23 2024 last night that featured brief, wordless animations of the characters Woody, Buzz, and Jessie.

Some folks on social media realized the animations look a lot like those from a certain Apple Watch face. The video below, spotted by 9to5Mac, drives it home.

The fix is in for software-bricked original HomePods.

Nic Splattstoesser, who repairs common 2018 HomePod issues, demonstrates the process in a video spotted by 9to5Mac.

Restoring the first HomePod, which wasn’t possible before now, involves connecting a custom USB adapter to a hidden debugging port on the bottom of the device. Splattstoesser credits David Syskalczyk and tihmstar with figuring out how to pull it off.

Ted Lasso’s future is up to Jason Sudeikis.

That’s what Ted Lasso co-creator Bill Lawrence told Collider when asked about what’s next for the series following its season 3 finale:

Whatever Jason [Sudeikis] feels like doing and whatever his decision is, we’re all down with it… Not only is he the star, he’s the head writer, and he’s also the dude whose life just has to be completely overhauled and moved to a foreign country with young children... As a partner, I’m down for whatever he wants to do.
