Aldi shoppers spot Lynx Africa dupe for 79p after iconic deodorant ‘discontinued’ as fan cries ‘we still have knockoffs’

FANS of the iconic Lynx Africa were left gutted this week after the brand announced it was pulling the beloved scent from shelves.
But bargain hunters were quick to sniff out the perfect replacement.
Lynx broke the news on Instagram, hinting that the legendary fragrance was being discontinued.
The post read: "You may have heard that our iconic Lynx Africa scent is getting discontinued.
"We know- it hurts (sorry if we've ruined your go-to fragrance) But don't worry, the rest of your faves are still here to keep you smelling fine, and who knows?
"Maybe one day, Lynx Africa will make a legendary comeback."

On Friday, however, the brand confirmed the scent was not going anywhere - insisting only the packaging would change.
Shoppers meanwhile, were sent into meltdown, with Aldi fans spotting a near-identical dupe for 79p.
The Aldi version, part of the Lacura range, offers a warm and spicy scent, similar to what made Lynx Africa a staple in bathrooms up and down the UK for decades.
Lacura Men Desert Heat Body Spray (150ml) has been making waves online, with fans saying it smells just like the discontinued Lynx Africa.
