BATTAGRAM: A child was killed and 11 others were injured when a jeep plunged into a deep gorge in Jesol Bazaar area of Battagram.
It was learnt that the jeep was on its way to Battagram when it fell into a ravine while negotiating a sharp turn. A child was killed and 11 other occupants of the vehicle sustained injuries when the vehicle plunged into the gorge.
The injured included four men, six women, and a child. Rescue teams and locals rushed to the spot and took the injured to the District Headquarters Hospital, where some of them were stated to be critical.
The medical superintendent of DHQ Battagram, said that they provided treatment to the injured. He said that some injuries were critical.
