Seven injured in Sohrab Goth clash over children’s dispute

A minor altercation between children escalated into a violent brawl involving adults in Sohrab Goth, leaving seven people injured on Wednesday.

The incident occurred near Lasi Goth graveyard within the Sohrab Goth police jurisdiction, where individuals attacked each other with sticks, resulting in injuries. The wounded were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment. The injured identified as 42-year-old Zafar, 42-year-old Ikramuddin, 35-year-old Nizamuddin, 26-year-old Zainullah, 25-year-old Mirajuddin, 22-year-old Abdul Hadi, and 17-year-old Kabir.

The police stated that the fight initially broke out between children but quickly escalated as adults got involved. The dispute arose between fish and ice shop owners operating in the same area, with both sides using sticks during the clash. The injured were provided medical letters and taken to hospital, but no arrests had been made so far. An investigation is underway.
