Josh Turner will make a stop in Mt. Pleasant as part of his “This Country Music Thing” tour at 8 p.m. Friday, March 28.
Turner, who came to fame more than 20 years ago with his platinum album “Long Black Train,” has surpassed 6.5 million album sales and 5.8 billion streams. His hit singles have included “Your Man”,” “Why Don’t We Just Dance” and the title track from “Long Black Train.”
The South Carolina native has been nominated for three GMA Dove Awards, two Grammy Awards and CMT and ACA Awards. He has created a scholarship fund to benefit music students.
